As I do have type 2 diabetes from herbicide exposure and I've been prescribed and taking mag, I'm going to request that my co-pay be returned!
Any medication I take that is for an issue that is service connected is sent to me at no charge.
The downside is that the VA won't volunteer info, you have to pursue it yourself.

I agree with you Desertwind. When I eat foods rich in Mg I feel worse. I eliminated foods one at a time from my diet to see what effect it would have.

You can take mag "to bowel tolerance".. meaning "until you get diarrhea" .. then you back off the dosage.
