Having a real hard time distinguishing reality from what I dreamt/did not dream but did last night.

I feel like large chunks of yesterday are mysteries to me.

I had a really good night's sleep. Or did I.

This is awful. I think it is a side effect from some new meds.

I just need to make it through today at work to go back home to hibernate in safety.

Thanks Steve.

I had gluten yesterday for the first time in 9 months.

I'm sure this is related.

Vivid dreams can feel more real than reality for me sometimes. Especially with me and low dose naltrexone. I take it in the AM for that reason.

Thanks laxmom.

I am finally starting to get some clarity now.

LDN sure does give vivid dreams!

I can handle those ones-i am always a ninja in those ones for some reason... Haha.

No wonder I am so tired all day. Fighting tyranny all night is exhausting.

Haha! LSD. Hey Steve maybe that's where I went wrong.

Thanks for the prayers everyone.

My brain seems to have straightened out.

Makes me wonder if I was in part REM this morning when I thought I was awake. Argh.

Anyways, it's over now and I am never eating gluten again and never taking the three meds plus melatonin at the same time again.

Hi Lyme in Putnam,

Hope you are having a better day today than the last couple days.

Soaking in an Epsom Bath trying to will the bart aches away, wondering what new symptom will surface tomorrow.

Was this a bart herx?!

Holy Hannah! 3 days in levaquin. Yes. Likely.

Bart just keeps getting more and more evil!

What I need is a bart-fighting Ninja Cat

Awww Greta. So sorry. Thoughts are with you.

You're on day 3 of Levaquin for the first time?
It's a wonder you're sleeping at all.

I remember the first time I took Cipro, good God I was up all night head spinning like a top :-/

You are a very smart gluten free cookie, behind you in support and good thoughts all the way.

Hi kudzu [Smile] I can feel those good thoughts shining on me like a sunray.

Hi surprise [Smile] Thanks for sharing your cipro story! I'm glad it's not just me with the bart and the quinolones.

I took your advice with the epsom.

I bought 6 4kg jugs of epsom salt from wm today and 6 1 L jugs of hydrogen peroxide. Probably looked like a mad scientist...

Soaked for an hour in the tub.

Read that levaquin readily crosses the BBB which is why it can cause such bad side effects.

Also why I suspect it causes a super crazy herx and I was squirrelly this morning.

Thanks for your well wishes all.

Steve!
[kiss]

I wish I could give you a bear hug!

Thank you for checking up.

Yes, reality is intact, thank goodness.

Back to status quo. [Smile]

Bart herx is full tilt. The evil gnome is latched on to my head, sucking my superpowers out...

Can't form words or chew too good today.

Hahaha! Clincher is I have a dental appointment.

This should be a drooly affair.

God Bless gentle dentists and hygenists.

I explained I had lyme and bartonella, and my blood should be considered a risk.

The dentist said, "Oh no, it's so hard to treat those. How long did it take to get diagnosed?"

Which shows to me he is lyme aware.
Praise God.

They got me extra support for my neck. Were extraordinarily gentle, no fluoride, and good humored and the appointment was a breeze. I even think the polishing paste was unflavored.

I am so grateful for their compassion and gentleness it almost brings me to tears.

Greta, I use epsom salts in the bath too, please tell me more about using hydrogen peroxide in the bath [Smile]

Posted by GretaM (Member # 40917) on :

Naomi Anna-i add 1/2 to 1 Liter of 3% hydrogen peroxide to my bath, along with the epsom salts, just before I get in to soak.

I mix it with a wooden spoon before I climb in.

I don't know the science behind it, or if it is an old wives tale, but it seems to make the epsom work faster to relieve muscle and bone aches.

I also get a boatload of odd rashes, and the hydrogen peroxide and epsom soaks help to bring them out to dry.
