Gees. Im at ground zero. I think will movemy continer veggies to the middle of the driveway and stay on pavement

Last , night i had a scare. I couldnt tell if blakspot was tick or not. It was black so wasnt skintag.

It was behind knee-hard to see and reach...but one of their fsv places

I dug at it and cant tell if it is tick or not or if i got some of it off and mouth part still in

There is a small rrd circle around it..i felt feverish and sweaty llast night but no real fever and its still red today but i dont feel sick snymore

Im so sick of going to docs and having them.make fun of me and say they dont know if it is a tick or not

And im.pretty sure the standard of care here is one doxy pill

So i dont know what i'll do...

Anyway...be safe all. I know for a factmany dont have a clue and they say we are worst state right now

I've had ticks on me too. I talked to my llmd and he joked and asked if I was making them.

He said if you've had lyme disease you are immune for six to nine years.

Let me clarify, you are only immune from lyme disease and not from any other bacterial strains.

Interesting article but is certainly not my own individual experience. I continue to get re-infected with lyme here in the tick infested state of NJ.

I certainly am not immune..Wish it were that easy.

That is an interesting article, thanks for sharing, but it has not been my experience either.

I have also had two different LLMD's tell me that you can't be "immune" to Lyme.

There is are so many contradictions, it's hard to know which are accurate with this disease!

Like that teddy roosevelt quote

Got my first tick in my backyard yesterday. Knew I was taking a chance with the birdfeeder. But there are more than a dozen deer that spend time in my neighborhood too, although my backyard is fenced. Squirrels and chipmunks, as well as the occasional groundhog and raccoon.
