NY State Residents - PLEASE - This is now extremely urgent, the Governor is being heavily lobbied to veto this bill. If you don't fill this out and send the link to friends, you probably shouldn't complain overly much about lack of treatment. We have to stand up and be counted if we want the situation to change. If you are feeling too ill please consider having a caretaker or friend of significant other fill this out both for themselves and for you, thank you all.
Non New York State Residents can help! If you don't live in NYS, please call 518-474-8390 and ask that Governor Cuomo sign S 7854 the Lyme protection bill, so that physicians are free to treat chronic Lyme disease without fear of losing their licenses.
One Final Push: Protect Our Right to Choose Our Treatment! Bills that will protect patient and practitioner rights in New York have passed the Senate and Assembly. This crucial legislation now sits before Governor Andrew Cuomo, awaiting his decisive vote. Please help us defend patient rights and save our doctors by sending an email... votervoice.net

Yes, yes, yes!!! This is completely important for all of us, as one state goes, so goes another.
There are 2 similar bills he has to sign, one that passed the state assembly, and the other the state senate: bills: S07854 and A07558B. So ask him to sign both, please.
It is a major miracle that it passed the state senate, as lots of one party didn't want to pass it. But they both passed by a wide margin.
However, Wormser et al are lobbying Cuomo heavily NOT to pass the bills. If he doesn't sign them within 10 days of them hitting his desk (along with 599 other bills, literally!!), it is a veto on both bills. We don't know if it has already hit his desk or not.
So, please, please pull out all the stops to email, call, and get everyone you possibly can to do the same.
Be polite, but firm, and concise. Thank you! It's for all of us, regardless of what state you live in. As one state goes, so go the others one by one (whichever way they go).

At least, this is how I had to do it, as the link above would not accept my non-NY zip code.

Oops, I was wrong. There is only one bill, as KeyLymePie said. The Senate & the Assembly have different numbers for the same bill. Sorry.
