Must be a very small town to print all this. And it is a lot more human interest than most of obits I have read.
Wondering if the tickbite death was quick or slow over years? Could have been caused by a variety of things, and we will never know.

Cities here (MO) don't charge for obits. In Texas, they charge a lot.
Now, maybe KC or STL charge. I don't know.

Welcome to life in the small towns. Isnt that how ALL small town obits are written??
Big cities hee are lucky to get a name or funeral details,,,little other info.
Small town papers have trouble filling the columns so more the merrier.
Our home town used to report on important things going on,,,must be too much trouble these days.
If its not funerals,weddings births,sports(written and submitted by school kids) or meeting notes nothing else qualifies as news.
