How are people in Central CA doing with all that rain and wind?
Hope someone can check in with us.

Most of San Francisco lost power for several hours today! I hung out at a hospital since they have back-up generators!

Got family up in the Santa Cruz mountains. Lot of water running down the middle of the street, "like a river." A tree fell over on 5 cars and one fell at the school and hurt two kids. They say it should be putting some water into the reservoirs. Hope so. Stay safe everyone.

I found out that my relatives are okay. Schools were closed in San Francisco, and I imagine in many more places, too.

Huge storms seem to be the rule, now….

Im in nh. I think my state is as big as CA cities. I cant imagine a state so big. Guess id be freaked out in tx too!

Yeah, we think distance here, like we used to make the college runs between the Bay Area and LA in a day. So when I traveled in Europe, I thought nothing of crossing through three or four countries in a day by train, since that was what it feels like to commute here!

Have you heard of any problems near san clemente?

I remember my daughter saying they were flying somewhere to have dinner with friends!?!

I have a brother on an island in alaska...they fly everywhere too
