there are a lot of petitions on change.org for lyme.
does anyone know of the most important ones to sign so I don't have to sift through them all- I mean , they are all important, but I would like to know which ones are for more general changes in tick disease healthcare, cdc, and etc.
can anyone provide links to some?
thanks in advance

How do we find them. I'm interested in signing as many as I can. I'm on the down hill side. I'm done fighting something I can't get treatment for.

- Best to go with the ones recommended this top notch patient advocate group. If they are not behind it, I just don't touch it.
Not because all the other petitions might not be done with the very best of intentions but that the wording can be so very tricky and if misconstrued in the slightly way the outcome can be totally opposite of what the petitioner intended.
There may be some "free lance" petitions that are worded and placed just fine but it's a whole lot of work to figure that out. And, they are often more successful with key organizations behind them.
There are a few other excellent lyme / TBD advocacy / education groups as well and this group is most often hand in hand with them, too.
In their "Activism" tab, see the "Petitions" link.
Remember to connect with STATE and LOCAL lyme support groups for the best area options. Just always check to be sure they are of like-mind with the groups above, with ILADS as the educational base.
Each group above has a unique focus, yet they are all fully "lyme literate" - as well as tick-borne infection literate (as lyme rarely travels alone). All are ILADS "minded" -- bringing them all together. -

I don't like signing petitions. All it gets me is more emails.

lymetoo you can opt out of getting emails .
keebler, yes, I realize that looking up what good groups are putting out or signing is the best way to go. that is why I asked here, to make it easier in the hopes that if anyone was following a certain good one they could just post a link here to make it easy for me.
I have trouble reading. even using a search here is beyond my reach most of the time. so searching is meaningless to me to just go to sites and then search no there too..... makes my head spin.
I just thought maybe someone on here had one close to their heart. that's all.
