I am so proud of people here in this state - they are taking matters into their own hands and starting their own schools so their kids don't have to receive dozens of harmful vaccines by the time they start school.
Vaccines are also a Lyme issue, since they weaken the immune system, and anyone with Lyme and co's can have a harsher immune system reaction to vaccines.
It's all about having as healthy an immune system as we can. When I was growing up, I can count the number of vaccines I had on two hands. We also got the mumps, measles and chicken pox.
Now, it's dozens of vaccines before entering school, starting from birth, including the hepatitis B shot (what kid needs that so early?!) and the ingredients are so much scarier, like a laundry list of toxic ingredients.
So if this is starting to happen to other states, just know there is a push-back being organized against the passage of SB277, which goes into effect in July 2016, against the wishes of so many.
The State Senator who carried the bill was paid $95,000 to do so. I would call that a conflict of interest for which he should be impeached or recalled.

It is taking off, and it's very exciting. It's possible that we're going to see all kinds of new educational set-ups start. Just think of the possibilities when a group of people choose to educate kids.
I suppose there will still be the standard tests they'll have to pass as they move along through the years. I'm on a site now, and it's just cookin'! Makes you almost want to have a kid to go through this with them! So I'll keep watching what's happening.
It's going to keep alot of kids much healthier, and that's really the purpose of it.

When I audited a university course last year, there was a great long list of vaccinations that were required for students. I was shocked. And of course found reasons not to do any of them. Wondering what will happen when kids that are home schooled get to college age. Will they have to go out of state? How many university systems have these rules. Hoping the pushback will come soon enough everywhere. But in my backward state, there isn't a peep of it.
Just looked up the regs for my state. There are religious and medical exemptions. The latter are only good for certain vaccinations, not all of them and it has to be specific. The vaccinations that are required apply even to child care facilities and after school programs. If there is an outbreak, these unvaccinated kids won't be able to go to school.
What burns me, among other things, is that sometimes these outbreaks come from vaccinated but unprotected kids. The shots didn't work. And weren't those Disney cases in adults?
