Calling all brothers and sisters in Christ. It's been a long time.
I think this happens on LymeNet every day.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
I made it to church two weeks ago!! It was a huge goal for me. My husband works every weekend but was on vacation. I wasn't sure if I'd make it but I did!
About ten minutes in, I wanted to lay down but didn't. Ten minutes after that when standing, I got weak and shaky, thinking we'd have to leave but made it through.
I thought I'd be satisfied reaching my goal but it only made me want to reach it every Sunday and more.
I love the church, the people, everything! God's Word!
I'm not sure if I had a smile on my face the entire time but did catch myself. If I did control my smiling, I was still smiling on the inside.

Hello my friend, It's great you made it to church ! Good for you for staying strong while there...
I also had days like that before treatment and thought I would hit the floor at any minute..
There is no other place I would rather be than in church every Sunday morning to learn about The Lord to Worship The Lord and to Love the Lord..
KEEP SMILING !!! God sees you, He hears you and He Loves you ....
Your sister in Christ xo

Hey, everyone!! I need to bring you a post. I'll be back.

You guys remember several years ago when I asked for prayers for my friend's son who had a ski accident?
Here is a blog from Jesus Calling that my friend wrote. She's in the process of publishing a book. THANK GOODNESS, because the story is amazing.
Jesus calling got me thru som very rough times ...i wept like a leper at the last time i went to church...my faith is being tested ..i think this the snake from eden that has been the sin of adam passed thru the generations. ..i fall every day

Hi SweetMelissa - Yes feeling like going to hit the floor about describes it. I struggled but God gave me the strength.
Your signature says it all. Momindeep
Lymetoo, I do remember praying for Caleb and his story. She writes so well. I believe her writing is part of God's plan. His Word, comfort, and so much more is spread through her writing and Caleb's accident. He is a strong young man and it's great to see his Love of God and wanting to share.
Bluelyme - What you wrote reminded me of what I heard in an on-line sermon. He said that someone described being a Christian was falling down, getting up, falling down, getting up,... So true of all of us.
As SweetMelissa said: God loves you! He always has. He always will.

The word tells us that we are to forget what is behind and press on...That seems to be the theme for this thread.

Silverwolf here,
Like to bring up a prayer request if I may.
TxCoord and I are facing a serious family issue right now. And we cannot make the three day trip necessary to do more than pray.
Prayer is powerful, and I do believe the Lord listens to us,His children.
TxCoord is facing, more medical tests and then a surgery, while the hope is only a night or two in Hospital next month,it depends on what they find when they get into his knee.
I have been battling a Bladder/UTI issue since Dec.2015, the Dr. thinks it might have started about a year back[going in next week to discuss options.
We have fighting the VA to get TxCoords proper just and due compensation since since late 2009. Finances are very very tight [not asking for monies here].
Right now,we desperately need intervention from the Lord, on all fronts. Our loved ones situation is very serious.
We do not know what TxCoords surgery and tests will reveal, we are praying against any cancerous growths or malignancies.
Same for my situation,we just don't know what they will find w/ my infection[s]. And these Drs. will not consider Seronegative Neuro- Borreliosis. After a Negative labcorp test this spring.
I am on Medicaid only, and TxCoord is VA medical, which still comes partly out of pocket. God specializes in the impossible, and we need His intervention.
Please join us in a prayer of agreement for these situations. It is beyond what we personally know how to handle.
Thank you for your tho'ts and prayers.
Silverwolfi and TxCoord

I found this beautiful prayer on ibelieve.com:
My Prayer for You
This is my prayer for you: smiles when sadness intrudes,
laughter to kiss your lips, hugs when spirits sag,
friendships to brighten your being, confidence for when you doubt,
courage to know yourself, comfort on difficult days,
rainbows to follow the clouds, sunsets to warm your heart,
beauty for your eyes to see, faith so that you can believe,
patience to accept the truth, love to complete our life.

Unfortunately, not all are lucky and blessed no matter how hard they pray and try.

God’s timing is not our timing, Mountainsky. But He hears our prayers nonetheless.
And what we want for ourselves is not necessarily what God wants for us.
These realities are really tough but I still believe e God gets us through hard times.
“If you wait upon the Lord, He will renew your strength. You will soar with wings like an eagle, You will run and not be weary. You will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

Exactly. He doesn't want good for some people. Some lives are worth more than others. I learned that the hard way.

I understand your feelings, Mountain .. but ask God to help you find the solution.
Focus on that.
He does indeed love every one of us the same.
God bless.

Not gonna happen. Lymetoo, I asked him for enough and things only got worse in my life.
Day #3 of 2022 and everything is going down hill.

Note that the original post dates from 2016!
So much has happened since then.
I think seeking blame just makes us feel worse.
Try some deep breaths, heads up and try to find something positive in each day.
