Jordan Fisher Smith was here tonight in Columbus GA. He was reading from his new book at the library. I was going to attend anyways but then read that he was in UOS, 1&2 I think. You can imagine my surprise at finding this out. I haven't seen those movies yet.

Anyways, I missed it because my Mom is bed ridden at the moment.

Darn....so close....

Yes, he's cool! After all, he was a Park Ranger!

Sorry you missed seeing him! I enjoyed his 1st book- Nature Noir- back when I could read books still.

In fact, that may have been the last book I read! And I did it while out in the deep wilderness in a tiny camper in the mountains one summer- at NIGHT- with a flash light and a candle as my only source of light.

Wow... never thought of it that way before! That's kinda special! Especially since the book was a gift from some very wonderful people.

I do hope your mom is doing better soon! With you helping her she is a lucky lady.

I read his new book, it was excellent. Educational and fascinating.

I spent a lot of my life hiking, love of the outdoors.

I now stick to paved roads and sidewalks, and can still feed my soul from this vantage point.

And by the way, I never saw a tick in all my years.

Great book Jordan!
