Here is a very worthwhile, 10 minute talk by Sheryl Attkisson, an investigative reporter, who talks about how medical propaganda works.

Very informative. It can be used regarding autism and vaccines, the lyme disease controversy, any new drug that comes on the market, etc.

She talks about Wikipedia and says that Wikipedia contradicted medical research 90% of the time!

She also mentions CME classes (continuing medical education classes that all doctors have to take), news reporting, Google searches, "astroturf," and how to recognized the signs of propaganda.
