"Last Christmas, I was in month six of what ended up being 13 months of intense mold treatment (on top of Lyme treatment!) and I wasn’t allowed to even step foot inside any building that hadn’t been cleared for mold. No shopping malls, no movie theaters, not even a grocery store."
It is amazing how much what we tell ourselves matters. Staying in the positive matters. Something that has helped me is this wonderful book (really good):
I remember though the SAME feeling for some herbs during lyme, I can't remember which, but I kept thanking them too. Cats claw? Astragalus? Japanese knotweed? Chlorella?
Whichever...
Lyme made me aware that plants are incredible beings, the ones that will NEVER abandon us.
We may not know which plants we may be needing exactly NOW, but they are here, just waiting to be discovered!!
It just came to me that my healing plants now are kimchi and Cistus incanus. Without them, my life is back to candida-misery.
During lyme, at a certain moment, my only friends were plants, so I also thanked them.
It felt weird at first, but during the lyme ordeal, I realized how 'complete beings' plants were.
I now totally relate with botanists or crazy people who love plants of all sorts.
I know where their love sits: in the heart of those beautiful plants.
They deserve to be thanked!!I particularly know I owe great part of my life to them.
the more I thanked them, and related to them, the more they filled my life, truly, even more than some human beings will ever be able to.
You think animals are superior to plants? I also did, before lyme.
Now I truly have doubts.
Just their presence in a house makes a lot of difference.
I thank lyme for making me discovering plants. Really, it looks crazy, but without lyme, I would still probably be blind to them.
I do think healing plants have that ability to open hearts of people.
