It acts by enhancing T-cells. In high doses, it creates cytokine storms (that almost killed all healthy men who got it), but now human trials are using only smaller doses instead.

That's horrible... I could barely watch the clip. Remind me to never volunteer for a drug trial.
I do hope the drug helps people.

If that drug did that to all 6 healthy men who were injected and almost died less than 48 hours after the FIRST and ONLY DOSE... I just wonder.
A cytokine storm is basically like an extreme allergic reaction, high inflammatory reaction, followed by multiple organ failure (kidneys, liver, lungs,...).
It is horrible.
I watched the whole documentary on TV a couple of days ago.
I just kept thinking about monkeys, animals, and the military soldiers ALL used as guinea pigs.
I do think promoting good food, good habits, homeopathy, herbs is a better alternative to drugs.
Just this whole animal trial + human trial for profit in the end seems to me morally wrong, somehow.
I can't really swallow that, without a bitter taste, knowing that there are so many other alternatives...
