I was reading in Dr. B's guidance that one should keep a daily diary with temperature readings, etc. I've started one with physical sx and other notable info but what about these temp readings? Should we do it at the same time every afternoon? Is there a magic time to do it and what should we expect to see? Thanks for any advice. My LLMD doesn't seem to be as enamored with Dr. B's guidance as I am.

I never read his instructions on that, but I kept a "diary" for three of my four years in treatment. It was helpful to see when I was herxing and why.

You can look back and see what you took and how you felt each day.

My doctor had me keep a diary of temperature readings every morning when I woke up & whenever I felt cold or hot. Would go from freezing one minute and putting on layers of clothes and blankets to feeling extremely hot the next.

He was concerned that my hypothalamus (due to some other symptoms that I can't remember what he said) was affected which helps regulate temperature. Thyroid tests are always low normal.

My temperature runs 95.8-97.4. He did adrenal studies and diagnosed me with HPA axis dysfunction. Dr. B says that this is common with Lyme. (Keebler gave me that info).

I just posted in Medical questions that yesterday my temp was 98.2. and asked if that could be considered a fever considering my low normal temperature. I'm herxing terribly from Allicin!

I think Dr. B was talking about having low grade elevated temps in the afternoon but I definitely do not have that.

I have been keeping a daily diary of all my symptoms to try & see if there are any trends at all.
