Hmm. I still have most of the symptoms of the Lyme infection that I got 14 years ago. (and I was CDC positive).

Did those symptoms suddenly morph into another disease? What idiots!

Chemotherapy and radiation bring high risks to cancer patients, yet there is no denial about their sad diseases or the high risk treatments they get. Wonder how many cancer patients have gotten sepsis from a port.

AAAAH!

I was CDC positive also. Does that mean their criteria has changed or what? Confusing!?

Instead of warning about deaths from treatment, they should be warning about deaths from NO treatment.

My father was misdiagnosed with Alzheimer's. In 1992, an LLMD in NJ diagnosed Lyme. The disease was so far advanced and we had no doctor here to work with us. He passed away from complications of LD.

A prominent business man here was diagnosed with ALS, but later had a positive Lyme test. The ALS doctor said "We won't worry about the Lyme disease, we're dealing with ALS." Another death from untreated Lyme.

No need to go on. You can see how I feel about the CDC!!

So sorry to hear that cbb. That should not be happening! Ever!

Lone Wolf, no changes. They are just being the pigs they typically are.

Omg. This is ridiculous.

When I got Lyme years ago and figured out that's what I had, I couldn't believe it. It took 37 months of abx to get rid of it.

I've always said that having Lyme is like being the unwitting victim of a horrific scientific experiment and then being denied the antidote. (When you're dealing with mainstream medicine, that is.)

Not wishing anyone harm, but I would like for any naysayers to experience the horror of the symptoms, the frustration of not being believed, the search for a doctor to believe in you, the quest for a diagnosis and the mega-doses of antibiotics and uphill battle to recover---not to mention the financial strain and the anxiety that causes on top of everything else!
