Oh Joy! Ticks that can live inside AND they are resistant to permethrin.

Wonder if we can train them to use a litter box? Or if anyone sells little tick pooper scoopers?

"Hey" says Tony to his wife- "Set another place at the table for supper tonight Ethyl, we've got company."

Quote- "Rhipicephalus sanguineus (Latreille) (Ixodida: Ixodidae) is a three-host dog tick found worldwide that is able to complete its' entire lifecycle indoors.”

Resistant to permithrin??!! Oh, no!!! And ticks living totally indoors?? We're sunk. This is why I'm happy to be living in a city and with no pets. Yes, I used to love nature, but another tick bite would really be the end of me.

I'd love to have pets, but with no capability of taking care of one, and the worry about ticks when out of the city or in parks . . . No can do, sadly.

I'm barely, barely hanging on by a thread as it is.

Ps. I noticed the resistance to Permethrin this spring. It may have started last spring. I'm in Nh. I wrote tom fried about it but never heard back. Doesn't surprise me one bit
