Babesiosis was the cause.

I'm sure many people die with nasty babs.

I wonder, if diagnosed, what is the STANDARD treatment for babs? Like 2 weeks of malarone and done or what?

does someone know?

Moral of the story: even if the man got an early diagnosis, he could still be dead.

Standard babesiosis treatment is just 2 simultaneous drugs for 10days.

Then probably he would have beenreleased and told cured .
