I read a lyme story where dr f, nj referred a patient to other specialists for evaluation during lyme treatment. Dr Fallon told her that since her western blot was negative that lyme is unlikely. She continued lyme treatment. She was shocked by this as am I. Is this what he believes and he is a researcher for chronic lyme.

Perhaps "unlikely" is a way of admitting that tests are not reliable.
I am glad the patient and her PC doctor decided to continue Lyme treatment.

It is not clear from this post if the patient was from New Jersey or not. Or who wrote the story and when.

Dr. F. is at Columbia U. in NYC.
