Hello Everyone, Is anyone on here reluctant to get vaccine for covid? I have felt pretty good but my body has different reactions to meds etc.I’m afraid to stir the pot honestly..

I would love to get it, but the last vaccine I had started my myoclonic seizures and set me back with Lyme.
However, I know others with Lyme who had gotten the vaccine without issue.

I wouldn't be getting one if I didn't live with my 89 y.o. mother. I have mast cell issues and have reactions to food, smells, meds, etc. I'm having mine done at my allergist's office because they're equipped to handle anaphylaxis or other reactions.
Also they pre-medicate beforehand. I'm not sure what they recommend but probably Benadryl or something.
It's a hard decision to make.

I had the incremental Moderna vaccine for Covid given in 3 shots of 10%, 30% and 60% at my allergist's office yesterday. Outside of a very sore arm I didn't have any adverse reactions and will have my second one shot full dose on April the 19th.

Please do PLENTY of research before getting one.
I will NOT do it. I have not had a vaccine in more than 20 years.
This (in my opinion) is not a vaccine.

Vaccine: A product that stimulates a person's immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease, protecting the person from that disease. Vaccines are usually administered through needle injections, but can also be administered by mouth or sprayed into the nose.
Scientists are not sure, yet, if the covid shots give a lasting immunity although more research seems to indicate they prevent the severe disease and decrease the chance of spreading the germs.
I don’t worry about whether the covid shot fits the scientific definition of the vaccine if it will bring down the amount of severe disease and death.
But, yes, do your research and talk to your doctor.

I am very reluctant, I wouldn’t take it for a million dollars. I have had bad reactions in the past and from what I researched it's not really a vaccine.

I don't suggest it. My chiropractor is reporting a lot of patients are having trouble with the second shot, like headaches, dizziness, etc.
My opinion is that we can protect our immune system very well by strengthening it. I've done lots of Vit C, Vit D, turmeric and a mushroom product with 17 mushrooms in a capsule - mushrooms are anti-viral.
I'm up to 5 negative tests. Been out the entire time due to needing medical care. I have not gotten my usual flus, meaning I have protected my immune system very well.
My chiropractor has also done great. Sees a couple hundred patients a week. Boosts with glutathione, quercitin, zinc, etc. Just shows we can protect naturally without risking our mortality or bad side effects.

Robin, I agree that the chiropractor is a very important part of supporting your health.
The chiropractic clinic I go to has three chiropractors and the one chiropractor there who wants to get the vaccine is the one who had a very bad case of Covid. I just thought that was interesting.
A lot of people have side effects from the vaccine whether they have Lyme disease or not. I still think the benefits outweigh the risks. But of course everyone has to make their own decision.

Had my second Moderna on the 19th. Felt fine that day but the next I had a really bad headache and was swollen and sore at the injection site.
Afterwards I was fine.

I did end up getting the Pfizer vaccine after a lot of research and prayer.
Only issue I had was a sore arm and a headache that lasted less than 24 hours after my second dose.
Felt like I not only needed to protect myself but contribute towards protecting others.
