Dr. David Martz died. He was in Under Our Skin; he had been diagnosed with ALS, but then discovered that he had Lyme and Babesia and largely recovered with treatment. He went on to treat people with ALS and TBDs. He spoke at ILADS and Under Our Skin showings.
We've been losing too many of the greats in the field!!
aw, yes, I remember being v impressed by him and his stamina dn the work he did.

He spoke at one of our CA LymeDisease.org meetings. He was wonderful. He spoke about being so grateful that he had found out his ALS symptoms were due to Lyme and that he was able to treat.
Ever since hearing him speak, I have let lots of people know that ALS could be Lyme.
