"This blog post is a personal reflection based on my own experiences with Lyme disease and my thoughts regarding the case of Luigi, which has garnered significant attention and sparked mixed emotions within the Lyme community. I want to clarify that I am not suggesting or claiming that Luigiās struggles are definitively related to Lyme disease, as there is no conclusive evidence to support this at this time."

That is a good discussion. Everyone should check it out.
I hope that discussions like that can help draw attention to the seriousness of Lyme disease - whether or not that disturbed young man suffered from it.

Ann~
I also posted this informative interview with Dr. Robert Bransfield and Dr. Al Miller regarding Neuropsychiatric Lyme and the UHC CEO murder case on the thread in Medical.
I am hoping people will listen and re-post elsewhere to educate and raise awareness:
Thanks for the info, Ann and Phoiph.

We are too late in the game, it's almost 2025. It's not gonna change anything or minds regarding psych drug overuse and chronic illness.
A mother in my state killed her 3 young children (and tried to kill herself after) almost 2 years ago. The defense is using SSRI overuse and post partum depression as her defense.
Some still aren't buying it (evidence unearthed that will not help her). She's paralyzed apparently now and in a state hospital. Some are even questioning the paralysis.
We are going no where with these studies, nobody believes us anymore. Money, profit, is valued more than human life and its very much so political.
So I joined the "murder in the 1st degree throw away the key" team with this mother and Luigi because fighting for truth is just a waste.

Mountainview,
Do you look both ways before crossing the street?
If so, then you must believe actions affect outcomes.
I agree that we are not in a good place in society, which is why speaking out is so important. You have to create ripples in the pond. Fighting for truth is never a waste.
When I was ill, my perspective became very dark and jaded. I knew it wasn't who I was.
Maybe I'm wrong, but your posts sound more reflective of someone who is in a severe state of suffering, rather than who they really are.
Suffering changes the lens, but fortunately, it can change back.

Unfortunately no for some it does not change. If you think this is gonna change society you surely are mistaken. When you speak up you're silenced.
Ive been ill almost all my life and suffered false hope. Almost 27 years. And this is who I really am.
This might really anger many, but for this reason I am pro-choice and for legal and ethical euthanasia because I know nobody cares anymore in this world.
At the end of the day our bodies and minds are a pawn. And when you're a woman it's 20x harder and dangerous.

Everything changes, Mountainview, change is the only constant.
It's not too late to change minds, and it's not too late to get well.
You have to get out of your own way.

Phoiph,
Kindly do what way you want and I'll do what way I want.

I will, of course.
Which means others might disagree with me...that's ok!
