Trying to find some old posts of mine and I can no longer find them in search. It isn't working. It only shows topics I started in "finding a doctor" even though I target "Medical Questions".

I just checked on Search and it did work for me in terms of typing in a key word and posts coming up in various categories. Maybe try again with key words. Also, my profile is still all there with all messages.

Yes, search function is not functional. Thank you for bringing this to the attention of the moderators, although there is only one moderator that is completely committed to LymeNet currently, which is hiker53.
This explains why the ‘Seeking A Doc’ forum has been seeing so much search traffic!
This MUST be fixed. LymeNet search function is everything that makes LymeNet great!
I will flag this post to see if it gets any attention from the owners.

I have emailed Jenifer, the webmaster, about this. She tried it herself and it worked.
I tried it today and had no issues but it only worked well on my computer not on my iPad or iPhone.
But you have to put in a keyword and then you have to search each forum.

Jenifer is working on it and said she’s going to try and re-index the forum. I’m not sure what that means.
The directory function seems to be the one that doesn’t work well when you want to look at the post of a certain member. It’s only coming up with “seeking a doctor.”
When you search for a topic, it does seem to work. At least it did for me.

Update
So. . . . no good news to report.
LymeNet’s most important mechanism, the ‘search function’, is still not functioning.
I have flagged this post and written e-mails to Jennifer, the website moderator/ owner to please address this.
Hiker53 has also been fighting behind the scenes to get this website updated and working to its full potential.
So far our attempts have failed. We will remain committed to LymeNet 💚

I contacted Jenifer again yesterday. Haven't heard back, yet.
She had said they would try and get it fixed the last time we corresponded.
With the age of the website and the LACK OF FUNDS to maintain it, I don't know if that will happen.
