I’m wondering if there are any changes, swaps, or updates I could make that might help support my health and wellbeing. Have you done anything to make your home more 'healthy'?

Or if you have any ideas or suggestions it would be appreciated! thank you

I have several air purifiers around the house including one that is on my furnace. (The furnace one has a UV light)

No electronic devices like TVs, phones or iPads in the bedroom.

I turn off my electronic devices in the evening and just read to relax.

Bird feeders visible from windows so even in winter I get the joy of nature.

I have many plants. That brings “nature,” beauty and natural air purifiers inside.

I have shoes that are only inside shoes and shoes that are only outside shoes so I don’t track in germs.

I know some people use a water filter, but I don’t.

I am currently fighting the battle against chocolate and chips, though. Had to put the holiday chocolate in the freezer.

HEPA air purifiers, got rid of carpet and replaced with wood or tile, mold remediation was the BIG thing that helped the most. Got rid of plants because the dirt is moldy. Wash bedding once a week in hot water. Vacuum once a week.

I have UV lights in my heating and air system. Also I use an air purifier in my livingroom that has a medical grade filter. I also use a zero water pitcher to filter my drinking water.

Got a great idea from a friend and bought a grounding mat from Amazon.

Also exercise when I can (not lately), pray, read my Bible and various daily meditations from other non-religious sources.

I also try to practice gratitude and try not to be so hard on myself.

Sometimes I can be my own worst enemy!

I like to surf the net for holistic approaches for my health and mental well-being.

I run 20 inch box fans with 20 inch furnace filters duct taped to them 24 7.Furnace filters can be bought in any amount of filtration you desire.
I buy distilled water to drink. I have whole house filtration but do not trust it.

When it is not below 32 degrees out side i have a hose to wash off the bottom of my shoes before coming inside my house.

All groceries that can be hosed off get hosed off.

I put the bread in the sun and turn it all around every so many minutes. Do not forget to bring it in the racoons will steal it at night.

I try to walk at least 7 miles a day, right now the 14 inches of snow and 8 below 0 have me cut down to 5 miles eeeekkkk.

Maddog, Why do you put your bread in the sun?

I like the idea of fans. My nephew said I need to air out my house on a regular basis. He's coming over Saturday to open up my windows.

And of course the high is going to be 31° that day which is cold for my neck of the woods.

Brrr.....

Hiker, I let the ultraviolet light kill the germs on and in the package.
