"Never forget that. You're stronger than you know and you have a lot of people rooting for you." Anon
Welcome to the exercise thread. Here we exhibit strength over illness by getting up and moving as best we can.
Are you walking, doing some spring cleaning, shopping, cooking etc.?
Any movement counts. So, tell us about your exercise or just tell us about your day!
Have a week full of sunshine!

I watched the National Cathedral church service online.
Ran 3 loads of laundry. Put away the now clean flannel sheets until next winter and the washed wool blanket.
Remade the bed with regular sheets and a lighter blanket. I did keep my down comforter out.
Took a brief nap after lunch.
The temperature dropped from the 70's this morning to the 40's this afternoon and the wind really picked up. March is such a roller coaster.
Recleaned the windshield of my car as I didn't do a great job on Friday.
Read and grounded.
Having leftover chili tonight with a salad.
Then watching a recorded show and reading.

Started the Metamucil and oh boy! 9:00 at night and it's still working.
Also it makes me feel so full. I sautéed some frozen green beans with water and spices and had about 1 cup and a boiled egg for dinner.
Dessert was 4 strawberries and about 1/2 cup of frozen yogurt.
Seeing my gastroenterologist tomorrow and hope to get some news on my liver, kidneys and pancreas.
See everyone tomorrow!

Watched church online. Hubby & I were still coughing too much to be out n about.
Two of the children went and took the food along for the fellowship meal. They ate at the picnic area since the weather was so nice. Came home with sunburned faces.
Sonny came home from his trip tonight. Brought home pork and cheese, plus several more things he collected. Had 3 ice chests in his little car.
Its so nice having all the children home again. I was just realizing my 'baby' is now older than I was when I got married and moved away from home. How time flies!
Called my sis & gabbed with her awhile this evening. I'm hoping they can plan a trip down to visit this summer. Would be nice to have some sister time together again.
Opened windows today. It was 78* here and our son in St Louis said they had 87* when he called this afternoon.

Did my bike warmup and my knee and plantar fasciitis exercises.
Rode the exercise bike 35 more minutes. I was going to go walking but this morning but the metal detachable shower hose fell off and landed on my foot, so decided biking was a better option. Huge bruise
Called my mom.
Went to the public library and got 5 books and returned 4.
Read and grounded.
Took the garbage and recycling bins to the curb.
Grilling brats for dinner tonight with snow peas and a butter lettuce salad.
Then a little TV and reading.

Baking day. 32 loaves of bread.
Also the day to do laundry. Had a whole garbage bag full of Sonny's dirty clothes to wash. Had 3 full loads of jeans.
We had sun and clouds today. Air was quite a bit cooler than yesterday.
A neighbor stopped in the morning, so had a nice chat.
Hubby was down at the sawmill, getting more boards ready for his little greenhouse. He has the corner posts in and the boards along the top.
Supper was hot dogs, sauerkraut, zucchini, & harvard beets. Blueberry danish for dessert.

Loved reading the posts, especially the food parts!
Guys, I didn't get good news today at my appointment. I'm at stage 4 liver fibrosis. They sent me right away for a ton of labwork and have scheduled a liver ultrasound April 6th and then will have a biopsy after that.
I have cysts on my liver, pancreas and kidneys so if it's cancer it might have already spread.
On top of that (as if that wasn't enough) my left eye and side of my face is swollen so have a telemed appointment with my GP tomorrow. What I thought was an eye infection is probably the worst case of sinus infection I've ever had! Even my teeth hurt on that side.
Josh came over with Mexican fast food and later took me for a chocolate dipped cone.
It was very hard to tell him and I almost didn't want to but was encouraged by 2 friends to tell him.
I'm so glad I did.
I've been pretty sick today and will probably feel better once I start treatment for the sinus infection.

akin- I am so sorry to hear about your stage 4 liver fibrosis diagnosis ❤️
I don’t remember life ever being this hard yet here we are. You will continue to be you and will fight though these serious and unexpected obstacles regardless. I believe Josh and you will figure it out to the best of your abilities.
We love you and stand by you.❤️ Sending you strength, positive thoughts, and successful outcomes.🙏
Now to go do chores..... the guineas are sitting on the barn roof fussing about something! Silly birds!

I did my balance and shoulder exercises.
Attended my women's Bible study. We finished up Acts today and will take a long break as our leader battles leukemia again.
Called my mom.
Rode the exercise bike for 25 minutes.
Very windy today and it reached 89*. So, that means severe storms are moving in tonight with predicted large hail and high winds.
Then a huge temperature drop and even a hard freeze warning for tomorrow night. Crazy.
I went out and got a coffee. Then read and grounded.
Hope to stay awake and watch the Illini game tonight in the NCAA tourney, but the game doesn't start until almost 10 PM. And if we get storms, I lose the TV reception.
Leftovers for dinner and then reading and TV.

Three of us had chiropractor appointments this morning. Then home to get started baking.
The sourdough bread was ready for the oven by the time we got home. Baked the regular amounts of bread. Also baked a little teddy bear bread for the older neighbor lady.
Warmed up leftovers for lunch.
Supper was homemade pizza. I made the crust and oldest son got the toppings ready and put it togther.
Hubby worked on his greenhouse a little bit. Also helped Sonny work on his pick up truck.
The 2 fruit trees and the grape vine I ordered last year have arrived today! If its not too cold n rainy tomorrow, maybe we can get them in the ground. Also have some asparagus plants to get into the ground.

Got up early and drove the hour to my mom's.
Had her try on a lot of new clothes since she gained weight. She wasn't happy about it. Spent several hours with her before driving home. Turns out she also needed some new socks, so I ordered those. I always buy her "fun" socks so they don't get mixed up with anyone else's.
Drove back and boxed up the items that didn't fit. Returned the Amazon items at Kohls and had to mail one item back to a company at the post office. Was a bit shocked at the price to mail the package.
Filled the car with gas.
Did my newspapers puzzles while grounding.
I am having chili tonight with some yellow squash and a romaine lettuce salad. Then reading and some TV.

Did the washing today, tried to get it folded while it was still warm from the dryer.
Emptied & refilled the dishwasher.
Placed my grocery order for tomorrow morning.
Got out the seeds for Hubby to start. Cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, egg plant, lettuces, rhubarb and okra.
Gathered up 6 african violets, 2 pothos plants and a Lemon tree to send to the store to sell. I had sent a flat full last week and the only thing left is the christmas cactus plants.
Tonight the roosters were picking on the white one. So I put him out with the gray one who was getting picked on. Now the gray one went after the white one! Hopefully they will co exist until the chicks hatch. Then I'll sell them.
After the rain Hubby got a little more done at his greenhouse. The plastic is supposed to be delivered tomorrow.
Supper was BBQ chicken from the freezer, scalloped potatoes, green beans, harvard beets & lettuce salad.

Manna-I get a total chuckle out of your critter stories. I bet you do, too.
I ran a load of laundry.
Did my balance and shoulder exercises.
Went to the public library and turned in two books and checked out two books.
Grabbed a coffee on the way home.
Filled the sunflower feeder and I am sure the squirrels will love me for that.
Did a little raking and cleaned out the storm grate by my mailbox again.
Called my mom.
Read and grounded.
I am having baked salmon with steamed asparagus and 1/2 of a baked potato for dinner.
Then watching the Illini vs. Iowa NCAA tourney game and reading.

Washed 3 loads of bedding. Remade the beds. Folded up the extra blankets and put them away.
Wrote the colors of the blossoms on the amaryllis flowerpots so I know which one is which next year.
Got my grocery order bright n early. Oldest son helped me carry it in. It was an older man and I let him set every thing at the bottom of the steps. Except he had carried the 25 lb bag of sugar up before I saw he's here.
Oldest son helped me plant the 2 fruit trees and the grape vine.
Had to fix the string I had tied above the fence around the garden. Apparently the deer jumped over the fence, caught the string & tore it in 3 places. The fence was a little crunched down at 2 places also. Wonder if they got hung up on the fence??
I have the one guinea who was living with the chickens, in with the guineas for a week. They say it takes several weeks for them to learn where their new home is. So I let the other guineas out during the day & she stays in.
Tonight I went to check if there are any eggs in the nest box. I shut the door behind me but didn't latch it. She went wild & flew into the door knocking it open and out she went! So I'll have to see if she will come back in...... or if I'll have to let her in with the chickens again & get her after she's gone to sleep at night.
Took all the dead leaves off the spider plants. Now to let some of them fill out a bit & then send them off to the store.
Filled the bird feeders.
Daughter made sausages, baked corn, mixed vegetables and bread, butter & pear honey or strawberry jam for supper.
Hubby and Son are out finishing up getting the plastic tacked down on the greenhouse. He needs the space to get the heat mats set up for the newly planted seeds. He has more to plant but no room to go with them.
Saw one of the pansies that came back from last year is blooming and a few more have buds! Daffodils, bluebells and hyacinth are blooming! Spring is coming!
