Hear ye, Hear ye! The exercise thread is open to all. Come join us. [woohoo]

Here we encourage each other to exercise.

It can be simply walking in your house or down to the mailbox. Perhaps you are getting some physical therapy or doing so yard work. Spring cleaning, cooking? etc.

Tell us about your daily movement or just tell us about your day!

Have a wonderful week! [group hug]

Palm Sunday service today. Great sermon.

Stopped at the store as this weekend there was a special on TP, paper towels, laundry detergent and distilled water—all which I needed.

Then I ran a load of laundry.

Filled the safflower feeder and then pulled up some dandelions in the flower beds.

Dandelions are already blooming and this year I will again have a bumper crop. [Frown]

I wrote several poems and typed them up.

Called my mom.

Read and grounded.

Spinach salad and an Amy's gluten free burrito for dinner and then maybe watching a movie and more reading.

Hiker, was just thinking I should make some dandelion greens like my mom used to make. I liked them with mashed potatoes.

Hubby felt yucky this morning so we stayed home and watched church online.

The children went to church, came home for lunch, and left again for chorys practice this afternoon. They were singing at church tonight.

Took a nap this afternoon.

Need to go pen up the animals and birds for the night. It wasn't dark yet when I fed them.

The 2 roosters outside seem to be co existing alright. 2 of the roosters inside were going at each other with the others standing by. At least it wasn't all ganging up on one.

The goats are waiting on their cookies. They like molasses ones best and the snickerdoodles & chocolate chip next. The peanutbutter, not so much. The dog liks them!

Supper was a chicken sandwich.

Manna-I didn't know goats ate cookies.

I did my knee and plantar fasciitis exercises and rode the exercise bike for 40 minutes.

About 80* here but the wind gusts kept me from going for a walk.

Called my mom. Then called my doctor to make my yearly exam appointment. I have to make about 6 months in advance to get in. I prefer to go in the summer and not deal with winter weather.

Read and grounded. Still dealing with a bit of candida overgrowth although I can't figure out why.

So, grounding helps with the toxins and tomorrow I will get a chiropractic manipulation.

Took the garbage and recycling bins to the curb.

I am grilling turkey burgers for dinner, steaming some zucchini, and making a spinach salad.

Then reading and some TV.

I must say my life is pretty routine, but that's okay.

Goats will eat lots of things. They prefer weeds and shrubby, twiggy growth rather than grass. So having a lot of their 'meadow' in the woods is just right for them. They eat all the low branches clear of leaves on the trees.

Sometimes you see them standing on their hind feet trying to reach up as far as they can to get more leaves.

Baked bread today and want to bake the whoopie pies tonight. The store will be closed Fri & Sat for Easter. The owners will be traveling. So that means no baking on Thursday.

The guinea that was living with the chickens made her escape from the guinea's pen & this morning was out in the chicken pasture again. I guess I will just let her live as a chicken. She's laying eggs in the nest box just like the chickens & gets along with them.

Did several loads of wash. Folded the jeans. Will let the rest until tomorrow.

Supper was vegetable soup, pickles, homemade bread, and for dessert a jar of the mixed fruit danish I'd canned and whoopie pies that came back from the store. I had a pumpkin one.

Several of the pansies that survived the winter are blooming.

Manna--It may just be you and me on the exercise thread now. We need to recruit! [Smile]

I did my balance and shoulder exercises.

Went grocery shopping.

Walked for 30 minutes. Had to hustle home because of a thunderstorm. Thunder and lightning almost made me jump out of my tennis shoes!

Called mom.

Made a meatloaf and froze it. Bought ground turkey on sale and decided to go ahead and make the meatloaf rather than freeze the ground turkey and then defrost it in a few days.

Took a long nap after lunch.

Talked with my best buddy for an hour while grounding.

Then went to the chiropractor.

Leftover turkey burger with spinach salad and snow peas for dinner tonight. Then watching a recorded show and reading.

Finished up the washing this morning. Everything is folded and put away except for the things on hangers.

This afternoon I got the geraniums I overwintered in the cold cellar. Trimmed off the dead leaves and stemsa and potted them up. Watered them and let them set on the front porch. Will bring them in if it gets down to freezing temps.

Want to wash eggs and get them ready for the store.

Supper was leftover vegetable venison stew, homemade bread, pickles & farmer's cheese.

Time to run out and shut barn doors.

Today was knee and feet exercise day.

Then rode the exercise bike for 35 minutes. Rainy all day, so didn't get out much.

Usual call to my mom.

Did the puzzles in the Washington Post newspaper after reading the paper. Also discovered I can read the local paper on my library website for free using my card.

Read and grounded.

I am cooking a porkchop for dinner and making a spinach salad. I still have snap peas to steam, too.

Then watching the Artemis 2 space launch and reading.

Pulled / dug weeds out on the front bank. Transplanted some creeping phylox on the bank.

Repotted a houseplant that is not doing well. The leaves keep dying off.

Supper was pork chops, mashed potatoes, gravy, french green beans & swiss chard.

After supper fed the birds and animals. Only the goats were inside so I could shut their door. The chickens & guineas refused to go in until it started raining.

Our thunderstorm wasn't bad. Waited till it stopped raining to go shut the barn doors.

Working on sewing quilt patches together for Sonny's quilt tonight.

Another very windy rainy day here. Sun is peeking through the clouds now in between storms.

Did a bit of cooking and freezing for later.

Did my balance and shoulder exercises and then rode the exercise bike for 25 minutes.

Wrote a few emails to friends.

Had a pretty lazy afternoon--reading, texting, grounding, working crossword puzzles.

Leftovers for dinner and then a bit of TV and reading.

Lovely sunshine and nice and warm.

Hung several loads of laundry out on the lines to dry.

Cut more quilt patches. Sewed a whole row of patches and added it to the quilt.

Daughtr & I went to a bridal shower for one of the young ladies from church.

Washed the sheets and pillow cases and remade my bed.

Did my 5 minute bike warm up and then my knee and feet exercises.

Walked for about 30 minutes. Finally, a day with no wind. Raining now, but sun was out this morning and it was 70*.

Called my mom.

Cut back my 5 huge clematis plants. I let them go brown in the fall and then wack them down around Easter time.

Treated myself to a mocha frappucino.

Read and grounded.

I defrosted meatloaf for dinner and will make a spinach salad and steam snow peas.

Then a bit of TV and reading more of a good novel.

Washed a load of towels.

Filled & started the dishwasher.

Carried the old bread out for the chickens. I gave them a loaf every morning. Throwing it out in their meadow.

Put lunch in the oven, sausages, sweet potatoes & green beans.

Moved part of the chickens fence to include some fresh grass.

Pulled / dug more weeds on the front bank. Transplanted more creeping phylox on the bank.

Waved to the neighbors as they went by in an old pick up truck with no windshield! He must have bought a 'new' truck and was test driving it.

Put supper in the oven, bbq chicken, baked corn, carrots and broccoli. Also having corn chips & dip.

Sewed more quilt patches tonight.

After the warm day yesterday and tornado warnings last night (thankfully the ones on the ground went east and north of us), today is quite chilly.

So, it was mainly an inside day doing laundry and some cleaning.

I did my balance and shoulder exercises.

Called my mom.

I did clean out the storm grate by the mailbox after the rain stopped.

Read and grounded.

Leftovers for dinner and then I am watching the Illini--UConn NCAA tournament basketball game. Winner goes to the championship.

Mostly sunny day. Nice and breezy.

Filled the cat food bin, the guineas and roosters feed bins are full. Also fill the hayrack with hay for the goats. It lasts several days.

Eldest son helped me plant the asparagus plants my sister gave me last fall. They were stored in the cold cellar all winter. Saw some were just starting to grow sprouts.

Helped the other 3 get their things packed for a weekend away with the chorus.

Transplanted 4 flats, mostly of tomatoes and a few marigolds to fill the last one.

Now to figure out what to make for supper. Should be some leftovers in the fridge.
