You can do a lot to help family, friends and neighbors become aware and learn how to protect themselves from Lyme disease and lots of other tick-borne diseases.

Every state has a Dept. of Health which should have information about Lyme disease and other tick-borne diseases.

And the CDC is better than it used to be.

You could copy the best link from either one of those and just e-mail it to lots of people saying "Hey, you need to know about this and how to be careful."

I have been warning all my friends and neighbors and pushing permethrin for their clothes when they are outside.
