Welcome to the exercise thread! [woohoo]

Here we encourage each other to get up and move about.

Are you walking, planting flowers, shopping, cleaning etc.?

We count any movement as exercise.

So, tell us about your exercise or just tell us about your day!

Have a great week! [hi]

Watched the National Cathedral Church service.

Ran a load of laundry.

Cleaned the bathroom and kitchen well.

Talked to mom.

Took a nap.

Read and also did the puzzles in the newspaper after I read it.

Chatted a long time with a friend who lives in FL.

Tamales and a salad for dinner. Then perhaps some TV and starting a new novel.

Back to my normal exercise routine today.

Did my bike warmup and then knee and plantar fasciitis exercises.

Then rode the exercise bike for 35 minutes. Very windy and lots of blowing soil today outside.

Called my mom.

Did puzzles, read the paper and a book.

Paid my car insurance.

Took the landscape bin and garbage bin to the curb.

For dinner I am grilling turkey burgers on my tabletop grill and having cold asparagus and strawberries in a spinach salad.

Then some TV and reading.

Went grocery shopping.

Did my balance and shoulder exercises.

Went to the chiropractor.

The frame of my glasses broke. Luckily, I had a new pair of frames exactly the same so I could take it to the optical store and have the lenses switched.

Then when I got home, I ordered another pair of the same frames online. I have a hard time finding frames that fit my small face, so good to have a back up plan. And they were on sale.

Read the paper, did the puzzles and grounded.

Called mom. She still can't hear well on the phone, so the conversation is super short.

Leftovers for dinner and then some TV and reading.

Washed a load of tablecloths & pot holders. Hung them out to dry.

Put more sweet potato slips into water to grow roots.

Mended a few dishcloths, a tea towel, 3 shirts and put new elastic in a fitted sheet.

Did some desk work.

Caught the white rooster and put him back in his pen. Now to catch the gray one.

Baked whoopie pies this afternoon.

Dug out and transplanted 4 clumps of black-eyed-susans. Put them out along the front of the barn & 1 in front of the chicken house.

Cleared more weeds on the front bank and transplanted 3 more creeping phlox. It was getting too dark to see.

Need to go shut the door for the guineas. Everybody else had gone inside already.

I did my balance and shoulder exercises again.

Went to the dermatologist. The growth I was worried about was a cyst and I wanted it drained or removed, but she said it would be so slow to heal due to its location and would just refill. But at least she didn't suspect any form of skin cancer.

Walked for 30 minutes. Cool day but not much wind.

Called mom. Talked to my brother briefly because she still can't hear well on the phone. We discussed options.

Called the nurse at mom's nursing home to see if maintenance switched out the phone to try a regular landline instead of a cordless. They didn't. Nurse said she would check mom's ears for wax. Probably need to get her to the ENT for an ear cleaning, but she will resist.

Looked again into clear captioned phones and amplified phones and decided there are too many extra buttons that mom wouldn't be able to handle. The amplified phones don't get great reviews because although they amplify the sound isn't clear.

I am cooking a chicken breast for dinner, steaming broccoli and making a spinach salad.

Then reading.

Bike warmup and then my knee and plantar fasciitis exercises.

Walked 25 minutes.

Filled all the birdfeeders.

Go out the hoses and attached them. Had to tighten up the spigot handles, too.

Then my planned yardwork got put on hold due to rain and wind.

So, spent most of the afternoon grounding and reading.

Did call my mom. Then chatted with another friend.

Leftovers for dinner and then some TV and reading.

Baking & washing today.

Covered the strawberries & raspberries with sheets agan tonight. Frost warning again.

After the guineas went to bed, I went out and picked the gray rooaster off the roost with no fuss. Trimmed one wing and then carried him over and set him on a roost in the chicken house.

Saw 2 oppossums under the chicken house. Tried to scare them away but they weren't scared.

Supper was rice, chicken & gravy, asparagus & for dessert fresh strawberries from our strawberry patch. We had to share as there were only a few. Also chocolate cake with peanutbutter frosting.

I did my balance and shoulder exercises.

Made a meatloaf and the catsup bottle attacked me. Got catsup down my shirt and jeans.

So, put those in the wash with winter jackets.

Yardwork is again on hold today due to rainy weather. So, I did my knee and feet exercises that would do tomorrow and hope I can get out tomorrow.

If not, then Monday.

Called mom.

Read the paper, did the puzzles, and started a new novel while grounding.

Mixed up nectar for hummingbird feeder. Letting it cool now.

Meatloaf for dinner (I used different gluten free bread crumbs because I cannot find the brand I normally use anymore--didn't come out as well as usual). Steaming some snap peas and making a mixed greens salad.

Then some TV and reading.

Manna--We have had frost here, as well. Weird spring--about 10-15* below our normal temps for highs.

Ran a load of laundry.

Went to the public library and checked out two books.

Stopped at the grocery as TP was on sale.

Called my mom.

Took a short nap after lunch.

Then trimmed 7 bushes in my yard and raked up the trimmings. My shoulder will feel this for sure.

Read and grounded.

Leftovers for dinner and then I think I will watch a Hallmark chick flick.

Finished up the mending.

Washed our bedding and put it back on the bed.

Washed a load of table cloths, tea towels & dish cloths.

Brought 2 iris bouquets in, one is yellow and the other is purple.

Dug out a few more weeds on the front bank. Scattered a box of wildflower seed on the front bank.

Picked strawberries for the 3rd time. Bought in a few pieces of asparagus.

Planted pole lima bean seed in pots. Planted some tall marigolds that I'd saved seeds last fall. Going to add some of the seeds to the zinna row, when I plant them in th garden.

Supper was a casserole.

Gabbed with my nephew and my brother today.
