Seeking additional members for the exercise thread! [woohoo]

The exercise thread has been a tradition for well over 20 years.

Come join us as we talk about our daily exercise.

It can be simple such as a short walk. Maybe PT, swimming, shopping, cleaning, cooking.

You name it and we count it!

So, tell us about your movement or just tell us about your day.

Have a wonderful week! [group hug]

Thanks, Hiker, for keeping this topic running. I really enjoy reading what others are doing to keep active and srrong, plus sharing what goes on day to day.

I live in a assisted living situation now, but do all I can to get good exercise.

I have a PT class three times a week. After every class, I ride an exercise bike for 15 minutes.

On other days I do a set of stretching exercises and others for balance and walk the corridors here and go outside for walks when the weather permits,

I have been watching lots of sports on tv lately - tennis, soccer, and women's professional basketball.

Have also seen some good movies, including "Hamnet" and "Choral".

Still exercising ongoing outside for a walk today.

Ann-OH. good to see you on this thread. Glad you can keep up with some exercise. I love sports, too! World Cup has been fun to watch.

Watched church online.

Ran a load of laundry.

Watered the flowers. Supposed to be another scorching humid week.

Since I didn't exercise at all yesterday and I normally do on Saturdays I rode the exercise bike for 30 minutes.

Called mom.

Went to Farm and Fleet for bird seed and a few other things.

Read and grounded.

Amy's gluten free burrito with a salad is going to be dinner.

Then maybe a chick flick or a humorous movie.

I did my bike warmup and knee and plantar fasciitis exercises.

Then walked for over 30 minutes.

Filled several bird feeders.

Called mom. Grabbed a coffee, read and grounded.

I have been upset all day as my best buddy told me she has esophageal cancer and needs radiation, chemo and probably surgery. She also has a splenic artery aneurysm that needs surgery and her daughter is getting married in 2 months. [Frown]

Took the landscape bin, recycling bin, and garbage bin to the curb.

Am boiling brats now and will broil them to have for dinner along with zucchini and lettuce salad. The cyclospora outbreak has me nervous about fresh produce and I thought--Manna grows her own and doesn't need to worry about that.

Then some light hearted TV and starting a new novel.
