....84 here today and tomorrow then an arctic blast hits and we'll only have a high in the low 60s for a day or two...that means long sleeves again, phooey.

Rubbin' it in, eh Charlie? Have a few flakes here this evening mixed in with the rain; temp around freezing- pretty miserable! (but makes one stronger, if one takes the right view!)

I went up and went skiing on Saturday! It seemed like a long shot- but if there wasn't snow at least I'd have a 30 mile ride (with net elevatin gain of around 1500 ft)- it's a beautiful area for walking, too . But in fact there was snow up there. Now it's looking like that was the last hoot-it was around 60 degrees , down here, at least, today; probably 50's up there. "Spring is springing bigtime!". I was pretty sore yesterday but surprisingly good today. Was so happy to get out--I can really appreciate it, not being able to for so long.

Enjoy whatever there is to enjoy, to the max, wherever you are- It's hard when we're hurting, but there's nothing like hope to supercharge the immune system; whatever's left of it.

By the time I get use to the cold temps...it gets warm!

40 degrees feels like 70 to most. I LOVE the cool weather! Air conditioning!

The bugs are out...blgh! [Razz]

Yes- the bugs sure are quick to show up! One warm day and flies already out. For awhile I wore shorts today!

In general, I've always liked the cold weather. When the lyme was bad, though, I seemed much more affected- maybe it was the damp more than the cold. It was definitely more necessary, but more difficult, to keep my body temp up.

When it's cold, there are more physical things you have to do when it's cold- put on extra clothes, shovel snow (that was totally impossible at times), etcetera. Hardly being able to walk or ski sucked, too.

....well as sure as I bragged about the weather it went down to 40 degrees and sat there for 5 days, drizzling. Some sort of mini-karma I guess.

and now we have a barrage of oak pollen that makes me feel for all the world like a relapse with foggy thinking and all, but fortunately I know what it is....unfortunately I can't take prednisone being a lymie and all, unless I want to start abx again which I don't.

ah spring....

Hey, a big 50+ degrees and I sweat like crazy!

Ahhh, Nature's sauna....

Charlie, can you take Claritin? Or get a neti pot and flush those pollen bits away. [spinning smile]

Charlie,

You better move here,,been 60 something every day for a week.

besides we ALL know we dont have ticks here(wink)

Plus the oak trees arent blooming yet(very few of those),,but the maple trees were raining sap all over a few days ago.

Can you drill and bucket the sap away on ANY kind of maple tree?? Sap only did that for 1 or 2 days max.

that's what you get for bragging, tee hee. [Razz]

i would suggest a nettie pot, too.
but i dunno if that's your pot'o tea, so to speak.

you have to pour water up your nose till it comes out the other side.
it can really help sinus issues, tho.
