Dear Green Santa's.....
This is my third time trying to type this post. I am sitting here again today with tears running down my face.... as I try once again to thank you all for giving so much of yourselves, to help insure that my children have a wonderful Christmas.
When our mail currier came to the door today with a huge box filled to the rim with toys for Derek, I burst out crying..the poor lady was all confused.
She knew my children both have lyme, so I explained about the Green Santa's..she too had tears in her eyes and was moved by all of your generosity.
I can't even begin to tell you how much your generosity and kindness means to me and my husband...
and my children will be wondering, what it is they did so wonderful this year, for Santa to bless them with so many presents...
And I have to wonder if maybe there isn't a little Christmas/Santa magic in all of you, as I am truly amazed that the gifts you have sent the children, are simply perfect.. it's like you have known them all their lives..the gifts you have given them are ones they will truly adore and treasure.
Here I go crying again...
The children have received so many gifts, that we would like to wrap most of them up from Santa, but I want to wrap a gift up from each of their Green Santa's and include their Green Santa's name on the gifts.
I want my children to know that people as wonderful as all of you, truly exist in the world.
I want them to know that the people on LymeNet care so much about them, and wanted them to have a wonderful Christmas, that they gave from their hearts to make their Christmas extra special..
We did this last year and whenever we talk about the spirit of giving at church, or with friends,
Both Derek and Mikayla share the story of their LymeNet Green Santa's.... and the wonderful gifts they received last Christmas from people who hadn't ever met them in person, but loved them enough to want them to have a nice Christmas..
I guess they, in their own words can express how truly thankful we all are for your continue generosity and kindness.
I can't seem to find the right words to Thank you for all you have done... I have been trying to come up with the right thing to say for hours..lol!
I just want you all to know, how truly grateful those of us on the receiving end of the Green Santa's, truly appreciate all you do.
I read that Barb and Her Green Santa's will help 25 children with lyme, have a better Christmas this year...that my friends is amazing!!!!!.
Please know that with your kindness, 25 children will wake up Christmas morning with a smile on their beautiful faces...what a wonderful gift you have given them...
And their parents!!!!
I know we were trying to figure out how we were going to pay the taxes, let alone buy gifts from Santa and us..
And now, you have taken such a burden off of us...and I simply can not tell you how truly thankful we are...
And my children will be in awe this Christmas day..thanks to all of you.
Thank you all for everything! May you all have a Merry Christmas and a Healthy Happy New Year!!!
~Missy
