anybody have microsoft office X for mac? i have a copy i got from a friend but don't have a serial code and can't use it, yet.

i can't go into work anymore and this is the only way i can work from home.

We have a Mac computer and have microsoft office and Word if this is what you're refferring to.

What kind of help do you need?

the code would be on the disc sleeve, the box, or available in the office files if you know where to find it.

Actually looks like sharing this information would be a No No says my husband due to liscensing and copyright laws for microsoft software etc.

I'm sorry about that, I know it is an expensive piece of software. Maybe check e-bay for better prices. Good Luck
 

i understand your hubby's concern. it is a slippery slope as the software is legally allowed to be installed on more than one computer by the "same" owner. (for all the microsoft knows, etc, etc, etc.)

but if he feels uncomfortable i respect that 100%.

i just would rather not fork down the $400 for a new copy if i can get the serial code from someone else.

but i appreciate you looking into it for me.... thanks again.

looks like you may need to ask Santa for that software. Checked with individual well versed in software copyrights etc. and they say it can get ya in lots of trouble if they know it's being "pirated" as they say .

Really sorry.... hope you find a better price than $400.00 ! You could almost buy another computer.
