I prefer it to the 'luxury liners'..
it's a small boat with a rougher ride..again, personal preference..
but the marine biologists are tops.
The very best is to take your own boat out there...tho it is not encouraged..
I'll never forget it.
Favorite beach by a longshot is Marconi..
on the National seashore in Wellfleet (I think)?
But areas on the bay are also beautiful.
Favorite restaurant for lobster and steamers is Moby Dicks..a ways out past Marconi on route 6.
Bring your own bottle of wine and there is a wonderful little room all the way to the left, apart on it's own..
as you face the restaurant. Grab the corner table..
I haven't missed a year there in at least 15.
If you like lobster, also good to get and make your own, of you have a sottage with a kitchen, they often supply you with a big pot. Most of the lobster meals on the Cape that I have seen other than Moby's are rip offs.
Bring a good bug repellant for sketers and ticks on the Cape
( I use www.bugrepel.com )
Mom lives out there, but before she did I used to prefer the more rustic
accomodarions offered in Eastham and Truro,
my preference..
Provincetown is fun to visit ..but very crouded so I like to stay somewhere else and just pop in for a day or two..
