I'm really having a hard time keeping up with you. I counted 27 new threads initiated by you since February 26th.
Of these 27 threads, you are the only contributor on many of them. I guess I should assume you are just attempting to supply information rather than solicting discussion??

I would love to have discussion. But, that's up to you.
Posted by lymedad (Member # 8074) on :
But teques that's my point.
There's so many that I just don't have the time to read it all and still formulate an opinion and start any kind of dialog.
Wouldn't it be easier if we took one subject at a time?
OBTW: I have no idea what you religious preference is, nor does it matter; however, before you defend eithe of the Dave's again, you might want to take a look at the website they both find amusing.

So much for reasoned discourse and respect.

The plethora of t posts is a prime example of "if you can't dazzle em with brilliance, baffle em with bull**it...
cept no one is baffled...
It could also be a tactic used by subversives mentioned in someone else's post here of late...
Could also be the manic side of bi-polar disease and it's meglomaniacal need to see one's name in lights...
It's classic...

Oh, probably LymeDad. You're probably right. There's just so much crap going on these days.
I took a look at the website you mentioned. No, I don't like it or agree with it. That's not the point. I don't agree with you either, but I would have stood up for you too if someone would have said to you what you said to Dave.

So is your flanking behavior. You do not address the issues. You attempt to attack the messenger.
Is it that you simply cannot debate the issues, Tony?
Keep tryin', Dude..... Your dodges are legendary.

Reverend Legion: You mean you would defy our Lord? Betty Bowers: Oh, never. That would be a sin. I just don't act upon it right away. I mean, that recalcitrance is probably the only reason I still have two children. And if I give it enough time, He usually forgets about it and it never comes up again. And I certainly never bring it up.
uh this chick is an idiot. do people really follow her. ug.

There is just so much going on.
I think just the opportunity for discussion is always a good thing. I know allot of folks who just want to shrink from the problems and feel like 'what can I do about it, anyway??'
But the alternative to doing nothing, remaining uninformed.. is unthinkable. If not for yourself, think about the children. What they will face on this track.
I think if the public was informed on a fraction of the stuff going on they would rise in mass. Even some staunch 'supporters' would. Yet it has become 'en vogue' to dismiss information outside the Bush box, and shoot the messenger while you are at it. Rove and his players masterfully orchestrate keeping the masses afraid and/or angry.
Then severely opresses release of info in the mainstream.
It's very effective. That way, anyone with facts, even documents, hard information - no matter how concerning - domestic as well as foreign - the messenger can be smeared and deamonized which pushes aside the actual info immediately.
The public that supports this administration has been systematically trained to do that by the talking heads and even White House member's behavior. A sort of cult-like denouncing of any sort of dissent or questioning.
This leaves an enourmous void in which this Congress led by NEO-CONs .. not true republicans, not true Conservatives.. (based on their ACTIONS, not their rhetoric) and they are spear-heading and passing legislation faster than the public could EVER keep up with. They have room to go wild with this stuff it seems. That's why a few Republican congresspeople are hopping mad. The public isn't informed, so where is the "WE" in the PEOPLE.
Discussion and info outside the mainstream is our only remaining link to free society.
Use it or loose it.
We got big trouble in America, folks.
I maintain of we started looking at issues without the imposed deflective reflex - many of us would stand together no matter what party we 'belong' to.

Where is the Bush box? It is hard to locate amungst all the stuff piled up around the box.
My point being if there was not such an overpouring of detest and negativity in the media we might actually be more proned to concider and believe something.
Remember the boy who cried wolf?

Softballmom... you're right. I have posted a lot of articles. I was trying to post a larger picture. To me, it is all related. I've never said it was all about Bush. I don't think the Democrats are any better. Although, this administration seems to be sprinting towards the end goal.
I apologize if a lot of it seems negative. I heard that from LabRat too. I don't see that many positive things going on right now in the direction our country is going. In my opinion, we are in free fall....
Now, I realize I'm going to get slammed for this, but who cares. I am concerned that if people don't start waking up and look at what is happening right before our eyes, we won't be the land of the free and the home of the brave, much longer.
I have never wanted anyone to simply believe me. That's one of the reasons I have posted a lot of articles from major media. My hope was that some of you would be interested enough to possibly start researching it yourself and make up your own minds.

Oh Tesque you misunderstood my post. I was talking about the media in the world not on this board. Sorry about that. I should have concidered the topic when I wrote that. I wasn't refering to you at all. Posted by lymeloco (Member # 7192) on :
T-lady I enjoy reading your posts! Keep um coming! Posted by Mo (Member # 2863) on :
Mainstream media is barely scratching the surface.
It seems because polls are down some are raising questions at least, but no in depth investigative reporting is being done. None to speak of anyway.
The info is what it is. It's definately not a 'positive' subject.
When I say 'Bush box'.. I am referring to the current 'leaders' in power, White House propaganda..but not saying this is the only administration to do this - I am not referring to 'Republicans' vs 'Democrats' .. I agree with Tequeslady that a considerable number of both parties are involved in supporting Imperialism and coorperate control, elitist and controlling government.
Just now, this well oiled machine is on the fast track. This administration has been particularly dangerous to America in their time of control. Partly because allot of groundwork clearly was set.
I know there are some good, conciencious and aware folks in Congress and certainly the public from both parties working to draw attention to this 'take over'. We need to bolster that in this country. I guess a total bi-Partisan reform.
Right now, this admin consists of a powerful network from the top and into about half of the Congress or more all tolled
-- taking America down a dangerous path, with almost complete misrepresentaion and manipulation and greasy palms.
I suppose I should just say the 'American government box' .. as this has been going on a long time.
Certainly, tho.. now it is full speed ahead and what's happening is in a downward spiral at an alrming rate.

Loribelle,
We're pleased to hear that your son is enjoying his much deserved R&R and Acapulco is not a bad place to be doing just that.
Tell him we said THANK YOU for a job well done.
Thanks for asking about Scott. We haven't heard from him much since his arrival "in-country".
His job does not allow too much communications outside the country.
We knew going in this would be the case. But we're supremely confident in his protection by God, through the prayers of his friends and family.
