Thanks to all of you that wrote the monitors...they have allowed me to return to lymenet.
I can hardly express the emotions I felt when I read all the good stuff that has been posted here about me...
I'm actually all choked up!(no sarcasm this time)
Geez....my heads so big I had to use bacon grease to get into the house!
Thanks to all who were instrumental in getting my reinstatement.....
I'll try and watch that full moon junk in the future! But you know me!

Trying to sneak in the back door huh! I thought you would- I think some of my head meds are partly responsible for my occassional detours from civility. Welcome to the humble pie club. Carol

Hey-gotta tell you I had a great time going off in the waiting room at my last Lyme appointment.
When the receptionist asked if I was aware of the LDA petition protesting the IDSA it detonated a button. I started shouting "I"VE SIGNED EVERY GD PETITION KNOWN TO LYME"
I grabbed the piece of paper crumpled it up and threw it back at her. She looked a little shocked so I snatched the paper back(I can't throw very far) and continued "GIVE ME THAT AND LET ME SHOVE IT UP THE NEAREST DUCK'S A$$"
All this at full volume in the waiting room, sadly the main witness to all this was my own daughter sitting across the room. Especially since on the ride over I had promised her I would not cause a scene.

Hey ZMan,
I'm so glad you were able to read between the lines -- what with all those glowing adjectives like "grumpy," "crabby," "old," etc. -- it may have been hard to see the true meaning, which was that we really missed you..!

I can REALLY feel the love!!!LOL
I may not be at full speed for awhile....
Not doing a whole lot lately cuz I'm trying to put up some lights for christmas....
My wife went up north last week and will return tomorrow(tuesday) and I wanted to surprise her when she returns...
Last year I was too ill to decorate and it kinda sucked around here.....holiday spirit wise!
So...kick each other around a little more till I'm back up to speed...specially you stymie!

Let us know what the wife thought about all the lights!
Posted by lymie tony z (Member # 5130) on :
Geez Cavey...that's all I would need...you editing my posts...
I would probably sound like some kinda nut!
Oh....that's right...I already do!...oh well.....
Usually when I pick up the wife after she's been up north visiting the kids and grandkids...she's in a particularly rough mood...
same scenario last night....
BUT...when she saw all the lights for xmas on our house and lawn...she brightened up immediately!
Big smile and a wonderful surprise......for her.
Geez...now I'll have to put up the tree and stuff too!
Oh well.....tomorrow is her birthday(yes I already have the card)....
I wonder what I can surprise her with tomorrow??

Posted by lymie tony z (Member # 5130) on :
Meg,
Glad you referred my IT in capital letters...and I have seen the comercial for e-bay...
But I doubt if the particular IT of which I was referring would show up on e-bay...
Cavey understood....
Geez...cavey...can't I have ANY FUN!??
Oh well....
zman Posted by meg (Member # 22) on :
I hope IT won't show up on E-bay....

Don't worry Cavey...
I don't have the capabilities of posting pictures with my old computer....
Besides....one of my bro-inlaws is always on ebay with my twin sister(yep there's two of us)...
and that would just be well...EEWWWWWWWW!
and when you "got IT" you don't need to flaunt IT!
Whahoooooo!
zman Posted by Carol B (Member # 9110) on :
and when you "got IT" you don't need to flaunt IT!
So why are you tying ribbons on IT? Pray tell- Posted by lymemomtooo (Member # 5396) on :
Carol and all, not sure what IT is but remember once my mom told my grandfather to tie a string around it so he could, well, won't finish in case I have the wrong it.
But maybe that is why Tony has a ribbon.
Posted by Cobweb (Member # 10053) on :
my mom told my grandfather to tie a string around it LMT -did she tell him to tie the other end of the string around a doorknob?
Great visual of Zman with a string tied around IT and a doorknob. Ding Dong Avon Calling.

This reminds me of the little Ad ditty "You'll love IT at Levitz"--sorry.....probably a regional thingy.... Posted by Cobweb (Member # 10053) on :
Hey Meg- I remember that ad-maybe we're neighbors!
How about the ad for Burger King-"Have IT your way" and what way might that be I ask myself?
Posted by Carol B (Member # 9110) on :
Anyway you can get IT. Posted by lymie tony z (Member # 5130) on :
Hey the ribbon was just gilding the lilly...so to speak...zman
MEG...I lived in Philly awhile back and got my three rooms of furniture from the "you'll love it at Levitz" folks...
small world huh!???

Okay, I couldn't help myself.
Ya'all can stop it now.
I haven't met LTZ personally, but I know he's my age, we served in Vietnam during the same years.
Knowing that he's "up-in-years", "long-in-the-tooth", etc, I'm quite confident that "IT" isn't what "IT" used to be.
Old guys our age only remember what "IT" was in our dreams.
I'm also confident now that winter is approaching, "IT" will be going into hibernation. It even gets a little chilly in Florida.
Posted by lymie tony z (Member # 5130) on :
Oh Man....
If you cut me....do I not BLEED!?
Et tu lyme dad?
I can understand cavey but a fellow vet!
Oh the humanities!
Unfortunately true, though they may be!
And yes it is chilly down here this week!
What do you guys have some kinda spy cameras trained on IT?
That's why I quit hunting up north...could'nt make it thru all the layers of clothing and ended up hitting my boots....
LOL Happy Turkey Day!

OK--I'm late to this topic, but all this talk about IT and ribbons reminds me of one of my favorite Scotting drinking songs that ends with the following line: "I don't know where you've been me boy, but I see you've won first prize!"
I'll go back under my my rock now :-)
Posted by lymie tony z (Member # 5130) on :
Somewhere in the deep dark recesses of my memory I kinda recall that line!
How bout the rest of the tune!??
Here here!
AND of course IT would have won 1st prize! LOL

Ah well.... I DO have my memories........
Oh Crap...I'm getting as bad as DocBarb!
AND YES....they were all human....well...cept when I used to talk... durring a certain kitty's in heat time(although we had her spayed twice)
She would hunker down and growl...like...
Sheesh...I've had female troubles ALL my life like that!
Safely married for the last 11 years.....so I guess you could say I've been clinically neutered!
Marrige can do that to an old guy like me!
LOL.....zman

no I won't go there....speaking of going somewhere..
go over to that post you put up about circumcision and scroll down past all that boring literature you provided and get to the good stuff...
Some of my best work there!
Did you know some women are actually haveing this done as well???
WOWSERS....that's gotta hurt....zman

OK cave....
I gotta tell ya....I've ALWAYS been the Atypical male... Probably cuz I had no bros and four sisters...
I know all about the guy in the boat as I had a couple bi-girlfriends at one time...livins...
So....too the butterfly technique...prior to LA Law...
I only said SOME of my best work....
I have often been accused of conceit...I have always maintained however that it was a fully intact ego and confidence...as in...
It ain't braggin if ya can deliver the goods baby!
However with age and lyme I HAVE had some setbacks....and now with diabetes...but I'm sure I'll climb back up to the top of the heap someday...
In All aspects!
Heck I was soooooo good at one time at almost everything I was the least bit interested in....even at 50percent capability
I'm still above average compared to my peers... at least I can hit the little woo woo man with one shot! zman

Forgot where I was going cuz I got a IM from a good friend just after I clicked on post a reply!
Duhhhhhh!
I think it was something about the other thread and the folks being "WAHOOS" and I being more like a "WHINNEG"...
OR something like that...so my "PEERS" are few and far between... You're probably one...and dare I say the doc...?
But hey...I sure wish we could have a cocktail sometime together....and just "rap"(no not rap sing)?...
My peers might be that they are the same age ONLY...cuz ain't nobody lived my experiences...and have a similar outlook on life....especially where I live right now in a 55 and over community...
MAN....are they nuts! Most are around 70 and above...sheesh....can't wait till more of we 50"s born generation move in here......
