Okay, okay. I really wanted the Saints in the Superbowl, but....
At least we had a home-town boy as MVP. By the way, everybody in this area were pulling for the Colts.

I was routing for the Colts and I'm from Baltimore!!!!! But it was the emotional factor that got me-for the coach. I wondered if even a victory in the Super Bowl came anywhere near easing the pain of losing his son. My feeling is he'd give anything to have his son back, but I so admired his ability to persevere and be successful. Grief is such an incredibly intense emotion. BRAVO! Carol

Thanks everyone! Yes, I'm sure it is difficult for Baltimore to know that their "old", or should I say former, team made it. It was indeed a good game - nothing one-sided about it at all! Two midwestern teams - that was awesome! Coach Dungy is an inspiration for everyone. I think he has definitely helped football, as well as all sports in general. He is definitely to be admired. I thin it was especially notable that there was a huge celebration, with no fires, etc., and only one incidence of any kind of violence. That says a lot for Coach Dungy's influence on the city also. I just had to brag! Have to enjoy celebrating while I can!! It may not happen again for a long time OR it could happen again any time!
