How beautiful! I took a picture of a doe and her fawn feeding on the trees in our back yard the other morning. Thanks for sharing this! I never knew a deer like that even existed!

I am with you, too. Sad to say my world view with respect to deer, other woodland creatures, trees, grasses, and even nature itself have been changed by the knowledge of what lurks there. I still appreciate the beauty, but now I do so from a distance.

My son is backpacking at Yosemite for four days. I won't sleep well til he gets home and I know he is tick free. Ugh! [shake]

I understand Joalo. We were suppose to go tent camping for a week in the Adirondacks but cancelled cuz I'm not up to it.

My husband absolutly loves camping and so do the kids. I don't discourage it because I know they'd be bummed if they couldn't go once and awhile.

Pray the trip is free of ticks for your son.
