I recently participated in an artshow in miami's art basil (december 2010) that was curated by the NBA. Myself along with 25 other artists from around the country (and two from japan!) were commissioned to paint NBA regulation sized backboards! The proceeds went to a charity which was based upon making citys and suburbs safer for kids to play. IE Cleaning up trash, getting rid of drug paraphinalia from bums, abandoned cars, putting down proper basketball courts and nets, and more importantly to us here, safely applying pesticides directed towards mosquitos and TICKS! to keep them away from parks and recreational facilities.

I thought you guys might like that, and i thought since this is the off topic forum youd be interested in seeing some of the artwork i do, and moreso now because im home sick with these horrible bugs!
