My list of to dos is never ending. I might as well be working.

But it would have to be for someone that didn't care if it took days or weeks to complete a task.

I wish I had the energy to do things I want to do but I've accepted the pile of papers and work.

Today I did get some sunshine outside even with it being hot hot hot. My herbs are now potted in their pots and as soon as the baby birds move from the nest.....I've got me a honey do list to watch over hubby as he moves some plants and I split up roots and divide out for him to plant in another spot.

Many springs and summers I've done nothing or next to nothing in planting on my patio or landscaping. This year I felt the need to expand my green thumb to growing herbs.

I really enjoy cross word puzzles and reading. My community library is where I go to get free stuff to do.

i'm a bird feeder and watcher. I also have discovered a game called "how to keep the squirrel out of my bird seed."

Going to war with squirrel keeps me entertained. I went in Wild life store the other day to buy bird feed. I told the owner if you don't help me with this squirrel, I'm going to be a suirrel killer.

He said in my business we don't kill 'em we feed 'em. I told him I'm ready to sneak up on this squirrel with a broom and chase his tail all over the neighborhood.

One good swat and he's done. My elderedly neighbor has been trying to trap this squirrel for months. Yes, we know this squirrel quite well and it's one and the same squirrel.

They bought a thing that falls on the bird feeder when weight is put on it. The squirrel just goes to the top of their feeder and shakes the feeder so the seeds will fall on the ground.

They put treats special treats in the trap, whole shell peanuts. He ignores it.

My husband was able to sneak around the house the other day and throw rock at the squirrel to scare him off after pounding on the window all day.

The rock hit the stupid squirrel and he stayed away for 3 days. My husband said to me "you actually went out and spent $50 for contraption to keep the squirrel off your feeder?"

Either that or our neighbors were going to see a crazy woman running(trying) around the yard with a broom chasing a squirrel.

He decided he'd rather spend the money. I find great joy from feeding and identifying birds. I'm a bird watcher and love it.

Squirrels I loathe.
