Anyone have a cheap perfume that lasts and that they love ?

Can't handle ANY perfume anymore.
I used to like White Shoulders. I can't remember any others since I haven't worn any in years and years.

- While I don't wear it, in a tiny dish, a drop of a pure essential oil in a bit of almond oil works for me. Citrus bergamia, the Bergamot orange, is especially fresh.
Synthetic scents can severely disrupt the endocrine system. It might be worth it to consider some points here before choosing a scent:

No. I have to watch myself when I am around someone who has perfume on.
I want to attack them instead of the illness that caused me to not be able to be around people who wear perfume.
It shuts my body down. I have got to get away from that person.
Most of the time I don't even know what is wrong until I am back in my car and sitting trying to recover.
I will still have the scent around me. I then realize it was due to the person I came in contact with wearing perfume.
Or aftershave or body lotion with a scent, etc etc.
Why put chemicals on your body??

i sort of spray the air around me and walk through it.
there are some perfumes tho that, yes, shut me down completely. i don't take a bath in it like some women do.

- Our local lyme support group meets today. The notice they send out always has this note at the end:
"As a reminder, please refrain from wearing scented perfumes, colognes, lotions etc. the day of the meeting. Many individuals with Lyme also deal with chemical sensitivities." -

I used to love perfumes but lyme and co gave me multiple chemical sensitivities. Anyone wearing perfumed products - I get outta there asap, even in the office.

I don't wear perfumes often anymore because I don't want to bother people that are chemical sensitive. Like my best friend. She can't stop sneezing when she's around perfumes.
I do use scented shower gel and lotion that doesn't bother my perfume allergic friend. The brand is "philosophy". My favorite scent is "Sugar Chick"! It is a light mix of vanilla, with a hint of lemon. I don't know how to describe it, it just smells so good, it makes me happy
thank heavens, i'm ok with it UNLESS it's something the woman took a bath in. you know, the overwhelming cloud of smell that you get a mile away!!! and some perfumes are sooo strong.
men's cologne doesn't bother me at all. (little secret, i've been known to turn around look when i smell a man with something wonderfully delicious on....whoa...)
but don't tell hubbie tho...

I love perfumes and most do not bother me at all. Every once in a while I will smell a perfume or candle that gives me a headache even if I like the smell, so I understnd a bad reaction can happen .
A fragrance that is more subtle , but BEAUTIFUL , is Alfred Sung's SHI . It can be purchased cheaply at amazon . I also love Coco medmoiselle but the chanels are sooo $$$$ .
For men my favorite hands down is PI by Givenchy . Stirs my hormones and makes even a homely man more appealing !

- If a scent "stirs your hormones" that is messing with your brain and endocrine chemistry. It's not just if the scent offends or sickens but the Endocrine Disruptors that are dangerous to everyone:

I also can no longer tolerate perfume due to MCS but I use to LOVE:
"Angel" by Thierry Mugler
Issey Miyake "L'Eau d'Issey"

I am very bothered by fragrance. I find it especially offensive when I am at a physician's office or in the ER and someone enters my personal space reeking of an overwhelming scent. This has happened to me numerous times.
I do not have MCS but still, I find it incredulous that people have no clue as to how their perfuming themselves up can affect those around them.
That said, for more than 30 years, my favorite fragrances continue to be Chanel #5 and Estee Lauder Private Collection.
