No matter which direction I take to access Medical , I can not get on that page to post new or read anything.

Any ideas?

I cannot get onto Medical at all to see anything on there...SO I dunno. But its driving me crazy.

Everytime I click on any of the links that bring you to the medical section it goes to cannot find server so I have no idea.

But I can get into the other sections with no problem. This has been happening on and off since this morning or last night...I can't remember

Well, I am glad I am not alone....LOL

I certainly am wanting on there!! But at least we know we are not behind in our readings for it seems no one else can post either! LOL

This happens sometimes, not frequently, but, sometimes.

Sometimes it's down for an hour or so, and, then, sometimes it's down for a few days.

I've contacted the webmaster in the past only to be told it must be some setting on my computer. However, when I know that there are several people having the same problem and they are from all over the US with absolutely no connection whatsoever other than being members of one group, LymeNet, then it is the sites problem not ours.

So, folks do not adjust your TV sets, er, computer settings, for that is not the problem.

Here's the rumor....Marc says they are cleaning up Medical and it will be running tomorrow.

The administrators told us a couple years ago that when a section got over 100,000 posts in it it was unmanageable and crash prone....maybe that's the problem now. They tossed all the older posts and it's worked pretty much OK up till now.

Maybe that's the problem...note the number of total posts in medical.

Marc responded to my e-mail and said it should be *up and running* by today.

Still--I cannot get on but looks like some others of us can.

Anyone else still having trouble??? I don't get it--guess will e-mail him again.

Since I am such a computer nerd, I keep wondering if it is just me as had computer worked on for a few days by a computer expert.

If some are getting on --I wonder.

I don't understand how some are getting on Medical and others can't. Clearly, it isn't fixed yet. Does anyone know what's happening? No one on the website technical end bothered to respond to my emails.

No, I do not understand myself. Yesterday I did get on medical a few times and I think I posted once.

Ohhhhh, I am impatient to this happening here.

We need MEDICAL!! Or I need therapy. LOL!!
