Within the last l 1/2 years, my grandaughter lost all her hair. My daughter found about l0 other children around her Northern New Jersey home with alapecia. She was looking for something these childen had in common. About half of them had Lyme Disease, as did my grandaughter (about 2 years ago). Has anyone heard of a connection between Lyme Disease and loss of hair. If so, do you know where we can find more info on this. Thanks for your input.

I've communicated with many Lyme patients who have had hair loss from Lyme disease. Most don't become totally bald. My hair is definitely thinner now.
