I found some friends e-mail in my servers filter in junk mail. I can enable THAT sender and have them come straight thru so it doesnt happen again.
IS it 'possible' to designate some crap that gets thru every day as junk and keep it filtered OUT??
IF you can enable some in,,,why cant you keep some out?? Why hasnt this idea been invented yet?? Or has it?? I B computer dumb!!--just don--

In Hotmail I have the option of marking stuff I don't want as "junk". They then get sent to the junk mail folder.
If I go to "options" I can set the level of my junk mail filters, block senders and add people to my safe list.
Each piece of junk mail I get I report as such and if I keep getting spammed from the same domain I forward them to spam@insert domain name here (eg. hotmail.com or aol.com).
I hope some of that helps, but doubt it. There should be a way to block senders you don't want though. Look for mail filters or options
ps. I've only sucesfully done this in Hotmail and not been able to figure out how to do it in Yahoo, correctly, so your'e not alone. Posted by bigmamma (Member # 7181) on :
Don,
You will need to blacklist them. Log into your email account online and see if you can change your spam settings to more strict. Some ISP's offer a higher level of spam control with a subscription service (small monthly fee). If you are not sure how to change the settings you can call your ISP technical support and they will walk you through it.
