We're trying to get the word out on Lyme Disease, right? I came up with a really "stupid" idea, or possibly brilliant depending what is done with it, but wouldn't it be great if we created one of those window/car stickers -- even a bumper sticker, that stated our case in simple terms?

If Lyme is as serious as it is, then this should cause people to notice other Lyme patients in their actual communities. This could turn into something. Cars are like free advertising!

Potential Stickers:

Chronic Lyme Disease Is Real!
Got Chronic Lyme? Honk Horn!
Lyme Disease: It's All In Your Head!?
Tick Bite? Don't I Get Superpowers?
Lyme: Easy To Catch, Hard To Cure!
IDSA vs ILADS: ILADS Favored.
Kids & Ticks? Protect The Kids!
Tick Check When Active Outdoors.
Lyme: 2-4 Wks Abx Not Enough!
Fibromyalgia? It Might Be Lyme!
Chronic Fatigue? It Might Be Lyme
Autoimmune? It Might Be Lyme!
LymeDiseaseAssociation.Org
Protect Literate Lyme Doctors!
I Don't Look Sick, I Have Lyme.
Lyme & Co-infections = Bad
Lyme: Long Term Antibiotics Help.
Tests For Lyme are Inaccurate!
Lyme Tests: False Negative Common.
Lyme, Studies Show Persistent Infection
Myspace.com Lyme Disease Support
Lymenet.org: Lyme Disease Support

Think this is worth looking at? Any other ideas? I don't want to following through and be responsible for making, selling, distributing the stickers myself, but if anyone wants to take this project one step further please be my guest.

blue, good ideas!! [group hug] [kiss]

slogan would have to BE SHORT; too much to read in brief glance at cars when stopped.

So, does anyone want to run with this? I know a lot of you are sick at home with nothing to do sometimes, this sure would be a great project to make a little money for Dr. Jone's case, or for the LDA or something.

There are tons of great ideas here. This would better connect Lyme patients in the "real" world, as well as families and friends who know the disease is awful, but who know so few others in their actual vicinity! If you saw a sticker about Lyme, you'd honk and even stop to try to talk to them! That's how bad this disease is.

I do not have the energy, money or time, but it would be easy to order a bunch of stuff on vistaprint and then sell it.
