If anyone wants to take a look....on the five oclock news WJLA Channel 7 http://www.wjla.com/news/ will have a story about Blumenthal and the IDSA. I have no idea how long it will be or how good it will be but I'm going to watch it to see what the perspective is. It can be watched on the internet.

It was good! Gave the IDSA a chance to tell their side. I know I am prejudiced, but I don't think they helped themselves one bit! Mimi, on the other hand came off great - articulate, calm, rational - very believable. Good job!

A DEAD STATESMAN
I could not dig: I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.

Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.

What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

BATTERIES OUT OF AMMUNITION
If any mourn us in the workshop, say
We died because the shift kept holiday.

If any question why we died,
Tell them, because our fathers lied.

======================================
THE GODS OF THE COPYBOOK HEADINGS
(last two stanzas)

As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man

There are only four things certain since Social Progress began.

That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire,

And the burnt Fool's bandaged finger goes wabbling back to the Fire;

And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins

When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,

As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,

The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return.

Rudyard Kipling
