I hope you are ready, but in case you aren't yet, here are some instructions tc and I put together.

IDSA has now loaded the trial software to enable you to view the guidelines hearing tomorrow. Check it out today.

1. Go to this site and click on the spot that says "Click Here".

http://www.idsociety.org/WorkArea/showcontent.aspx?id=14974

2. You do not have to enter a name or email address. Just click where it says "Click Here to Start."

3. When you see the next message screen, just click on the button that says...

"Click Here to Move to the Next Step".

4. Follow the directions to test your system. The "play icon," for those who don't know, is the white triangle in the center of the screen.

5. To view the video in full screen, click on the rectangle to the right of the audio control. To return to regular view, press the Esc button at the top of your keyboard.

6. You are done with the setup. If you have any trouble, contact technical support at 877-867-7300.

7. Now go to the IDSA website at http://www.idsociety.org/Content.aspx?id=15026 and click where it says the webcast lobby is NOW OPEN. Bookmark it so you can find it easily tomorrow.

8. Bookmark CALDA's live blog site, http://www.lymedisease.org so you will be ready to go tomorrow morning. We will be liveblogging all day.

9. If you want to participate in online discussion while viewing the hearing, you can keep two or more browser windows open simultaneously. (You can't keep the full screen video, though.) To open a new browser window look under Files on your browser toolbar.

We'll look forward to chatting with you tomorrow!

For those of us who are having difficulty viewing the webcast, here is the direct link to the webcast:

mms://youniv-StaticPoint5.wm.llnwd.net/youniv_StaticPoint5

Cut and paste this address into "Open URL" in Windows Media Player or Quicktime.

If you are using Quicktime and the webcast doesn't run, install Flip4Mac:

This allows Quicktime to read Windows Media Files:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/wmcomponents.mspx

eliz posted this in another post ....

Actually IDSA has posted ALL presenters powerpoints and PDFs. ****************************************

Just understand if you view them that they are not necessarily the actual presentation, verbatim, they are the typed speeches and powerpoints that were given to the panel prior to the presentation.

The actual hearing had question and answers after the presentation asked and none of that is included here.
