Sometime 6-8 years ago I was recruited ot participate in a study for genetics. I vaguly remember it, and I don't think I saved the paperwork.
They took blood from me, and a health history and said it was a study to see what my genetic makeup was and said they were looking to see if I was predisposed to certain diseases.
I now wonder why and how I was recruited for it, and if it had anything to do with lyme, or CFS which was my label at the time, or HepC.
At the time $80 for 30 minutes of my time and a vial of blood sounded like a good deal. Now I worry I am a victim of some Tuskegee-like experiment.
