Someone asked in another question about how to stay current on new Lyme-related developments. Here are a few suggestions.

The California Lyme Disease Association (lymedisease.org) has a "News, Events, & Blogs" page on their website:

http://www.lymedisease.org/news/

CALDA also has a Facebook page, which is updated several times a day:

https://www.facebook.com/lymedisease.org

If you are on Twitter, follow us as "Lymenews."

If you join CALDA, you'll receive the Lyme Times, a very informative quarterly journal.

And of course, if you haven't already, I suggest you view "Under Our Skin" and read Pam Weintraub's "Cure Unknown." These will both give you the background necessary to understand a lot of what's happening today regarding the politics of Lyme disease.

Join the Yahoo group LymeInfo. I forget exactly how I joined, but here's what it says at the bottom of one of my messages:

"Please tell others how to subscribe to this group:
[email protected]
Yahoo! Groups Links"

[email protected]
This is an email address to subscribe - I'm not sure how to make it a clickable link.

Then it says:

<*> To visit your group on the web, go to:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LymeInfo/

You'll get great summaries and links to news stories, scientific papers, etc. It will say "Rick LaFerriere" in the From column of your email.
