It seems so many people are testing positive at Igenex, just wondered if anyone tested negative?

My test came back extremely positive! Then my mom had a test done and it came back negative! I was on the same level you're on! But after I saw my mom's test I was a believer!

I"ve tested either negative or equivacable every time I 've ever tested at igenex..i'[ve never had a positive test for either lyme , babs or bart adn I've been treated successfully for all three and now i'm about 95% better...

only my duaghter had a positive igm igenex test...my son was also negative on all igenex tests...

we all had bands on the igenex tests.that's for sure, which showed we did have lyme, but accordign to their cdc standards, we were indeed 'negative'. NO good llmd will folllow that negative testing thoguht..they will see the bands, and see that you have lyme...if you're immune system is tired of building antibodies and you've had lyme a long time you' probably will test negative...

so find a good llmd and they will know hwat to do. he'll read the bands and know how to treat you , rather than follow a negative or positive reading on the top of hte paper.

Yes, it happens. Whether this is a false negative or not is the real question.

There is no infallible test for lyme, the only thing we can do is go with labs that specialize and hope for the best.

False negatives are the big problem, not false positives.

Well it seems there have been quite a few of you that test negative so it probably isn't a false positive...I was just curious..I have heard that almost everyone that tests through bowen comes up positive. Thanks for the replies so far.
