I have been on a antibiotic now for 25 days and

feel worse and worse everyday. Can I still be

herxing or maybe the symptoms are related to some

thing else. I tend to feel worse after I eat and

in the afternoon. This is getting old fast. I have
the numb head and chest pains everyday. Yes I have

had my heart checked and they say it's fine.

What next?

oh gosh I don't want to hear that. I only

started feeling this way once I started taking

meds. I say every night okay I want to die, is

that how you feel? What a bummer. My dr's are

even still running tests to make sure there isn't

more to it.

Stefanie, Which antibiotic are you on? Some give more intense or unique side effects.

You also might want to do a "search" on here about your abx. You might find others who have had similar experiences.

Also, have you started any new herbs or supplements lately? Some of those can be pretty potent and give you a herx or just negative side effects.

Good luck!

stefanie,

keep in mind that your body is processing all sorts of bacteria die-off, not just Lyme. All the good flora bacteria in your digetive track is being destroyed as well giving off potential toxins.

Keep yeast in check, it can add to symptoms if not controlled.

It's good your docs are looking into other things. Not every bad thing that happens is a Herx. Sometimes it's med side effects, other times it can be another illness. Good diagnostics are important for weird symptoms.

That being said, I herxed for 3 months in a row, leaving me literally in bed for the whole 3 months, except for bathroom trips.

Detox is very important. I was not able to hold down a lot of water and food at that time, so I ended up building up lots of toxins. I'm doing better about detoxing, and it makes my herxes much less severe.
