I have just been told that I am taking way too much Art. 1800 per day. LLMD said that this can be toxic, and I should do half that. Anyone else take a high dose like that?

I'm curious why you are taking that much, especially if you are taking either Malarone or Mepron as well.
I know the higher doses are used for cancer treatment. But here is a concern : http://tinyit.cc/28118

I was just told to up my Artemisinin from 600 mg to 900 mg/day 4 days on, three days off and I'm a bit hesitant to take that much.
I've read dosages of 500-600 mg. I guess I'm curious if anyone else takes a gram or more per day (and are also on Mepron or Malarone).

jeez. I wonder if the Art makes me feel so awful because I take too much, and it isn't a herx.

I take 1200-1600 mg a day for 3 days on wait 4 days off (take Crypto plus) per my LLMD. I also take Mepron.
Someone in my support group said he cleared his babesia and brain fog with higher doses of art. He suggested a book. You can pm me. I heard of people having sucess with this.

I was told by my LLMD to not take Art with Mepron because they interact negatively with each other. I assume this isn't accurate??

Dr. K. a german physican who is mainly active in the US suggests taking Artemisinin 3x500mg/d for 3 days. When I started taking Artemisinin I felt really bad, now it is getting better. If someone is histamine intolerant ARtemisinin is a problem. This may be a problem in some cases.

Ive been doing high doses for almost a year and it is bad every time I pulse it. I take it with Mepron and a ton of other drugs

Interesting Jupiter. I take 200 mg and any more than that and I get a histamine response...felt like I had severe allergies and swelling.

I take 800 mg/day for 10 days, then off for 20 days. I was short of breath at first, but when I stopped at 10 days, I feel awful....migraine, achy joints and fatigue.
I also take it with Mepron and a ton of other drugs/supplements.
